I currently have a dual 200 watt Dual CFL over 3 auto plants that are a month old in a small closet, all plants are now showing white pistols , one more so than the others 1.(this is the start of flower right?)I have another 200 watt red cfl, 2.Should i add the red cfl now or just put the red in on its own or would it make no difference to the dual bulb thats already in there? By adding the second is it likely to generate a lot more heat? 3. Should i start blooming nutes now? I was thinking of using Biobizz Bio Bloom, I also have some Ace of Buds that came free with the bulbs? Sorry for noob q`s and thanks in advance :)

Edit : i also have 2 of those shitty led panels either side of the cupboard.(bought b4 i researched how crap they were.)

You should start bloom nutes at first sign of flower (pic 1, i can see pistils). More light the better.

back off the water, imo. they look "wet." maybe some more air......idk. they look flaccid and a little clawed

I did just water them an hour or 2 b4 pics , could that make a difference? i water every other day on average?

water when pot feels light. get the feel of wet and dry weights. let the force guide you.................
i watered about 5 days ago; still good. the plant drinks more at times, less at times. water by weight........not time

again.......plants do not keep calendars. water when pot feels light in weight. cannabis likes to breathe between waterings. if you feel you're due for nutes, go ahead and feed. less is more is a good rule sometimes.

Could the light being to close to the plants give the same effect as the pots were light when they were watered tonight and a lot heavier afterwards, the tallest plant has grown quite a lot in the last 48 hours also.I ask purely for guidance and not to disrespect your experience.

Im running an overhanging 200watt dual cfl , surely if that touched the plants it will burn them? It is at around 5 inches away now.

Correct, touching = burning. 5 inches is good for a 200 watt, i usualy keep my 180 watt 3-4 inches away. smetimes my T5 tubes touch the leaf tips... they burn but as long as they are moved within a day or 2 its good.

Add some side lighting (23w or 42w) it will help with the growth. 200w top lighting wont be enough after they get 15 inches +

Could the light being to close to the plants make the pots dry out faster.
There i fixed it for you.... But no LIGHTS dont have any effect on water evaporation, but HEAT does. the hotter it is, the more water is wicked from the soil into the air and the faster the plants dry out. it doesnt change the fact that you only need to water when they are DRY, which is when the pots are lite.

got a photo for you. it might make life easier.

thx , would i be better off just putting some idelighting in then instead of the other 200watt, i dont want to generate too much heat?

as long as you have the exhaust necessary for 400 watts of power then i would say use the other 200W. set them up to allow the lights to penetrate the plants as deep as possible, this will help with density.
