I am starting some fem great white shark seeds from green house seed co. in my new growbox for when my current grow is complete. Check it out! Iv got a big storage tub spray painted white on the inside (may add Mylar later). 5x23 watt 5,000k cfls for 115watts and 1 68 watt 2700k clf. All together there is 183 watts. Iv added two intakes and one big outtake fan. Temps are about the same as my tent (around 80f). Lets see how it works out

Week 12, Day 48 of Flower:
Things are looking great! Big frosty buds that are coming close to harvest. A couple of things though. I took the cfls out earlier in the week because of heat problems. Its getting hot over where I live and the temps in the tent are getting up to about 86f. I really don't think it was worth the effort to add the cfls. You can see improvement in one of the buds that was really close to the cfl light but the rest where just too far away to benefit. Plus it used a great deal more electricity. Another thing, today I put way too much ph up, then too much ph down, then some more ph up. so hopefully that doesn't screw anything up.

Update:
The new grow box is working great so far. No stretching and the temps are nice for how compact everything is (about 80 in the afternoon)

your my fucking hero dude iv been srsly considering leds. my stealth cab gets too hot for hids so iv been using 150w 8u cfls good but not great- for your scale the amount of plants and sog² this looks amazing

for every led thread theres some yahoo knocking leds this was all i needed in no way shape or form does a 500w led come close to the potential of a 500w hps but then again i would be half retarded to try nd put a 500w hps in a 3x4 stealth cab if i could hit you again with rep i would, again awesome job looking back at your pics it feels like a understatement

one question how is bud density buds look a wee on the fluffy side but it looks like it was snowing in there thats whats important imo

p.s next grow if you cut the lower popcorn buds your top buds will be significantly larger leds don't have the penetration especially with that dense a canopy stay high

His plant isn't done it's on day 53. It still has fattening up to be done. I think it looks fine for a plant that's not done. Also remember a 500w blackstars is effectively a 300w+ light so how big of buds do you expect a 300w to deliver?

On my next grow I think I will ether do LST of ScrOG. but I will make sure no popcorn buds. This run I will have a lot of popcorn for some butter . I also think I overcrowded a wee bit.

How many plants are you considering next grow, three instead of four?

Just for the heck of it here is the picture after a few hours of drying under a fan. Iv also felt it a bit so it probably looks a bit denser then normal.
