Hi. Longtime Colorado resident here, and first-time grower. I've had my card since the middle of December. I started this Blue Widow in February, and moved her to flower earlier this week. I've discovered that less is more with this sister, poor thing. I love her!

I also have a Northern Lights x Skunk, a Diesel (maybe male?) a Juicy Fruit, and two
Brazilian x Cindy99/Matanuska Tundra. They are all still vegging. I've managed to burn them with nutes, burn them with lights, overwater, underwater, etc. And yet they still keep trucking. They really are weeds!

Hey chef, I'm growing habaneros and bhut jolokias too! And a bunch of other chiles. Why waste the grow lights, right?

I've learned so much from this website. Thanks tons, from me and the sisters (and possibly one dude).
Quick correction, they ARE NOT WEEDS. They are an annual flower. Please do not confuse this wonderful plant with a disgusting weed that has no real application in life. They however, are very strong plants generally and can withstand some serious abuse. Not all strains can, but most will tolerate a little beating..

Id grab a ppm meter, like 20-30$, and whacha guys think like 800 in veg maybe higher if ya really wanna push em, starting week one of bloom around 1000 a lil less if ya can manage heading towards 1600 by week seven and flushing week 8?? Or I would repeat whatever you ran week seven till your ready to flush. Some strains can't handle that much, like indi said. But you'll start to figure out who you can push and who you can feed lightly, have fun and keep those pics coming! Peace :)

Depends on the nutes. Plants generally cant use nutrients over 1000 ppm, numerous studies have shown this but we still do run it high! H&G I ran 1600 in the end and no more than 700 by then end of veg. I use my Canna now and never go over 1000 ppm and my plants look no dif.. PPM meter is a must, and flushes in between feedings depending on the nutes and medium you use could be a must as well.

I apologize. I didn't mean to insult anyone or any plants. I'm just happy that I could make loads of mistakes and still be able to reap the fruits of my labor.

Please excuse the pumpkin trying to steal the show! So I started this Diesel about a week after starting the Blue Widow. It went through a very rough time and is just now starting to take off. Don't the leaves look a little indica-y for a Diesel?

Here's one of the C99 crosses. I started these about a month ago.

I use Happy Frog soil and Foxfarm nutes. Half strength, though, and every other watering. I found out the hard way that new soil + full strength nutes can burn the hell outta babies. Whoops.

I'll try hard not to post too many pictures. I'm just so thrilled that I can post here without too much fear! I love Colorado.

nice looking plants you guys got there. My choc rains are doing quite well, i think all 3 are female one is indica dom other sativa dom and the last one looks like a good mixture of both already had to make a clone of that one. Oh and what i thought was a chemD is a flo, the leafs are curling down and changing color to purple with about 2 weeks left. Ill try to post some pics tomorrow I would like your guys opinion on it, either way i love the plant and smoke ill bring the last bud i have left of it to the bbq.

Yea when you transplant to new soil you wanna wait until the plant tells you she needs more nutes and then start slow working your way up again. During veg I almost never use nutes i just increase the pot size.

420sw, no such thing as to many pics! id say both of those girls ya got there look great, and defiantly have their share of indica in their genetics :), always a good thing imvho :) Stinkbait, looks like you have some beautiful sugar leaf there, not to mention some happy buds :) indi- love seeing those genetics there, that durbin is crystal city! Alien bomb cherrying up yet? There was a pheno in there that tasted like maraschino cherry syrup :) velvety and euphoric smoke for sure. Rom and querkle looking solid as always nicely nicely done bro!

Plants look good Uro. The Flo is impossible to mistake. It has a smell that is very different than Chem, and the buds are spear shaped, literally every one and it finishes in week 7. If you got all that then it is but from the looks of the bud structure in that pic I really cant tell. WE NEED SCRATCH AND SMELL PICS ON HERE GUYS!!!!

Tuesday will be the 7 week mark, I am thinking she has about 2-3 weeks left about 80% cloudy the smell I can't put my finger on fruity pebbels and cleaning supply maybe. I'll try to take some more pics of her tomorrow, if you are gonna be at the get together I would like for you to check out the bud I have left from last harvest, but what ever it is so far it's one of my favorites and that's all that matters

I forgot I took some pics last week first is the ChemD but it looks like flo any thoughts?

next we have choc rains

yeah that CHEM def looks like flo, no doubt about that i have the same cut from Acme smoke and she def. takes on the smell, taste, and potency of FLO cut I've had in the past Acme says its chem-dawg but i'll go with FLO, not to mention all my friends that smoked the CHEM thought it was flo because of the utterly Amazing taste.
