I was trying to use my new microscope for like an hour. It was not working... So I gave up and I'm still kinda waiting around to be sober.

ROFL!!! Yeah....it's prob. something you should be clear headed to do. Is it a little handheld one? You can still see them real good if you use macro mode on your camera....you can zoom in pretty freakin close.

I'm just starting my grow process out here in the midwest and I'm going to use your idea bumps with the roast pan but my question is how long am I suppose to veg and then how long am I suppose to flower. I am almost 3 weeks into my process and I just planted another yesterday. Any help I can get will be helpful.

I veged for 6 weeks but if you are working with an unknown strain you should veg till you see preflower then switch to 12 / 12. After that get a hand help scope or jewlers glass. when the trichs are 75% clowdy 25% ember is the day you should take them from what I understand. I honestly havent done it yet! I'm gonna go with that though.

ok also my setup is a litle different I'm using my closet space since it's a fairly sized room. Now does that make any difference inot what to do?

go into the settings on your camera and see if there is a mode called macro. It's usually a flower symbol, then when your in your picture program on your pc you can zoom all the way up to the trichs without losing quality.
Should look like this,

I don't know if you can do this on an iphone...I'm pretty sure you can, just check in your picture settings.

Sweet deal man! How much square footage you got in there? 11 plants is a lot! But if you got space you can do it! You're going to need a lot of lights!

not enough lights....get 30 13watts and it's still not going to be enough for 11 plants :( Go for the 26w minimum, 30 of them!!! How many lumens are the 13w your using?? A good rule of thumb is 100w per plant and that will give plenty of light! Or 100w for the first and 50w each after, and that will be just OK.

I'd say you have enough lights right now to successfully veg 2 or 3 plants.

Yea man I just started my grow with CFLs but I've moved to HPS for flower. You should go to Catt's Thread and follow it. She has been through a couple fully CFL grows. But instead of investing so much in light's I would cut down on plants. Just wait a bit and cut your weak ones IMO and still get some new lights!
