I see where your coming from. Just really like the new design of the DR II. Although $100 is a good savings.

Adding the HPS will increase temps. Do you have an Inline Fan? If not, I would go the T5 route just for temperatures. If you can maintain temps, I think HPS is the way to go.

I Love T5 lighting, Especially the Par, but for the price of HID's now a days. I think it's the best route.

thats a good buy, are you looking into getting it? quantum is a good reliable company in my book, i was trippin when i saw the price of the ballast, and ps i read that they run higher than the dimmable % like 50% really runs at 68% and so on

Update!
USB Microscope Got Here. And I have to say, It was a waste of money. The pics are terrible quality probably due to it only being 2 MP.
Will throw up some pics with it to see what all you think.

Both strains are on day 28 Since flipped to 12/12
