Just got done and decided to LST both of them, but should I make them so the top colas are pointing towards the direction where they get the most sun from or away from it??

you want the sun to hit the lateral branches that are now facing up.
The top colas will eventually start to grow upwards because of a
gravitropism effect. imo you should have the top facing away
from the most light because you want the side branches to get the most.

That's exactly what I was thinking when I tied it away, but my only concern was that since the under side of the leaves would be exposed to light now, would this be a bad thing or would they just turn??

I accidentally bent the stem of the hermie too much and it tore a little on one side(nothing serious) so I just took it off the tie and added support so it stays up right now, I guess I will look into super cropping now since that's basically what I did to it.

I went and checked on them this morning and noticed that on the female main stem there was a single root visible (If I moved a layer of dirt), which I assumed this meant it was starting to be uprooted, so I pushed it back down, added some soil to the middle, and reinforced the counter-tie. Is this bad or what??

**Edit** After doing some research on LST ( http://www.thctalk.com/cannabis-forum/archive/index.php/t-17720.html ) I found that if the top cola is not the highest point on the plant it's not really LST so I clamped down the top so it is now lower than the main stem (Will get pictures tomorrow).

Haha thanks, but if I was in the mountains It would be alot more than 2. I would love to go to a country like India or Africa (anywhere that's chill) in the mountains and do some growing, that would be so dope.

No you should be fine it wont take long for the leaves to turn toward the light, about 3 days if
im not mistaken, and if you broke the stem a little i wouldn't worry about it. I actually HST (high stress train)
my plants which is another way to supper crop, I purposely break the lateral branches so
that it hangs outward instead of upward, its similar to LST but you actually inflict damage that it eventually
recovers from, you could still have it tied down if you want to LST it. you will be fine my man.
And yes put some soil on top to cover your roots that are exposed.

Thanks they started turning up the same day and were alot better almost straight today. I think I'll just leave it alone and let it heal, I don't want to stress a hermie more than I already have, as I fear it will produce more seeds than buds.

I was reading on the difference between growing Indicas vs. sativas and found that indicas are primarily grown in the mountainous regions with long photo-periods, do you think this could have been a factor to why my plants flowered so early?? (they're indica)

Yes I read that indicas that are grown in tropical regions will flower usually right when they're mature enough to (around 2 weeks) due to the shorter photo-period, and that usually only sativas are grown in this type of climate. So this could have definitely been a factor if not the reason why. Too bad I don't have any sativa strains to test out.

So far so good with the LST, the lower branches are already starting to grow more. As far as the hermie goes, The part where it was bent (super cropped) is turning a brown color, is this normal or is it rotting (it has been raining alot), also in one of the pictures I marked a leaf that grew out deformed, although I'm not too worried about that as it's the only one like that, but more concerned with the wound. What should it look like when it's healing??

The hermie should be fine its normal for a little bit of discoloration
it will eventually become woody around it as it heals. wont take too
long for a small plant like that.

Ok thanks, but is there anything I should keep an eye out for?? like what will it look like if it does start to rot, I researched alot on stem rot after super cropping but cant find any pictures, is this cause it doesn't happen often??

Today I went pick crazy, taking off any male sacks I could find. Which led me to wonder If taking nearly ALL the male sacks off of the hermie will have any negative effects on the plant?? Or will it cause more overall male ball production since its loosing so many??

nah, you should be ok doing this.. this is pretty standard practice.. some strains will throw out a few males flowers early in veg, and people will remove them, and they won't come back afterwards.. not always though...

Alright thanks I'll keep an eye on them just to be safe, and let you know If I see any difference in the amount of balls its producing. (which is quite alot already)

I was watching a video and on it the guy said that flowering usually takes twice as long as you veg'd, so 3-4 weeks veg would be 6-8 weeks flower. But I was under the impression that it is all strain dependent and that it will take the same length to flower no matter how long it was veg'd. Also how long do kush strains take to finish, I read most indicas take 6-8 weeks.
