Yea Im def not gonna pretend like I have any idea of what Im talking about or how it's done but I do know people have done it those ways, obviously way more crude than using a program which Im gonna have to look into... but still a way.Sirlancelot, you are very, very wrong. There are programs for the computer (to hook a webcam up to it), iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, etc that allow you to specifiy when you want your device to take a picture (lets say every 8 hours), It will automaticaly take one picture every 8 hours, then you can choose how many frames you want it to go through per second. (FPS) and it will compile it all into a movie with the FPS you set (usually 24 for a video-like performance).
Just search "Time Lapse" in the appstore of an android/iphone and you will come along many different programs.
i'm doing this with my next grow. I bought a cheap little $5usb camera, and a 30ft usb cord. Going to use the usb camera (its on a clip, lol) in the corner of my cab to check on temps/monitor stuff as well as take a daily photo. Good stuff.Sirlancelot, you are very, very wrong.
