Transplanting

When do ya'll think I should transplant these into 5 gallon pots? Also, do you think I should do a bit of pruning while at it? These are clones (obviously) and there is a bunch of tiny growth under the new growth that just doesn't seem necessary.

what makes them obviously clones? lol

but if they are, how long has it been since theyve been rooted? They also look under/over watered(droopy leaves) and even nute burned.
Doesn't look like it needs trimmed up, maybe topped though, not sure can't tell your pic isnt very good quality.

Wouldn't go into 5 gallons from the solo cups. Waste too much nutrients. Pop them out of the solo cups a bit and check root structure, if it looks like it is starting to get root bound, transplant to a max 3 gallon for now, veg a while and then transplant into 5 gallon before flowering. Also, clones don't really have a tap root so their container doens't neccessarily need to be high but wide is best imo. Good luck

and adding more high powered fan so close to them isnt helping either... it drys them out HARD... and even faster...

so try if you can to control the temps where your fan also doesnt have to be so close to them either...

Temps are at around 73 - 77, humidity stays around 35 - 41. They are a little underwatered, I let them get pretty thirsty. The nute burn is not from me, its from the dispensary I got them from. I'm feeding them 1.5 ml of Protekt and Grow by Dyna Gro right now.

damn they abused them pretty bad, if you got them like that i would have said NO THANKS... unless they were free... just sayin... no offense to you but i would never get clones that looked that abused... and sorry for not answering your question earlier just tired today... you can transplant as early as you like the earlier the better the roots have to spread out evenly and get well developed so when you flower they will be at the best size spread out to soak up those nutes and water in the most efficient way... good roots=good flowers...

Do you think removing some of the lower foliage would help? I want to get rid of the burnt leaves and what not. Also, one gallon of water with nutes for 5 gallon pots? Just making sure, I don't want to over water these fuckers once they are in their new pots.

i would just leave them as is... as they are still "using" the parts of the leaves that arent burned up...

so what if it "looks" ugly... the plant will get rid of them sooner or later on its own...

yeah one gallon is about right... use a smaller bottle to fill up with so you can pour and spread and distribute the water evenly to make sure the water gets poured on the outer edge then work your way in... (best way imo)

you'd be suprised that it should be plenty of water... and water will still come out of the bottom as 1 gallon of water is sufficiently adequate to moisten the "so called" 5 gallons of soil...

"overwatering" is only when the soil stays wet constantly and isnt allowed to dry sufficiently before watering again...

1 gallon of water should last you around 4-5 days under those temp and humidity conditions before watering again...

fans and their use depending on how close, speed etc... will obviously as well... dry up the soil faster if constantly on too much...

im sure you know already... lights on... fan on.................... lights off... fan off...

water at least once or twice inbetween feedings so soil can be washed thoroughly before you do a feeding... otherwise the soil will build up fertilizer salts and or alter the pH to the point that lockout occurs and the plant then wont be able to absorb nutes cause the pH has dropped too much...

i would also let them hit the edges too (roots ofcourse) always want a strong foundation to build your home on. Other than the stress they have, they will shake it off if loved everyday. Sounds childish bit talking to them and/or playing music increases health IMO with countless past grows. Stay green my friend

I know people have different ways of doing things, I know people that feed the whole grow. But I think I might do feed, water, feed, water, and so on. At least during veg. Or Feed Feed water Feed Feed.
