I was always told when doing scrog you want to flower when the plant has 1/3 of its height left to get to the screen

so ur saying flower befor it even gets to the screen see thats the part i dont get about scrog some say fill 75% of the screen then flower but then its gonna grow like crazy and stretch like they do

Is my grow ready to get switched to 12 on 12off, this is there 6th week in vegging

It makes since to me to do it like I said.. If you fill 75% of the screen where are you going to put the other 2/3rds of the plant?

I really dont know, First grow so would you want them that size or bigger

I would flower sooner than later depending on how much space you have (i dont remember) If you dont know what your room can handle start smaller and work your way up to growing bigger plants. they grow fast so you run out of room fast.

That was 2 months veg from seed and my next batch is 1 month veg from rooted clone. If you go back in my journal march 12 is when I started flowering so you could go from the pics you see there for the size you are looking for. Ice is a 50/50 hybrid fyi

Yeah I would let them go longer if your looking for my size plants. My next batch will be smaller plants.

you would get more weed if you did 4 but your plants will be even bigger. remember veg for 1/3 the height you want in the end
