I had no idea the term "Jock" was offensive to a Scot. I try very hard not to offend anyone, unfortunately some people are more sensitive than others and you never know what is going to offend someone else. i've heard of the whole "i have a black friend" routine but never the "some of my friends are colored people" routine.
