As the title states this is my first ever grow. I decided to go the organic route with a heavily amended roots soil base. Currently in an unused bathroom approx 4x5' under a 650w t5ho. Everything has been vegged under this, the plants in the 7gal are on day 38 from seed the smaller 1gal are day 20. The t5 is going to be my mother/clone light I have a 1kw mh and 2 1kw hps on the way and a 12x6x12' grow room under construction to move them to.
Here's the group. 1gal pots are DNA Hashplant Haze. 3 of the 7gal are TGA Cheesequake, the right front 7gal is Delicious seeds Cotton Candy(freebee). Everything was started in rapidrooters then xplanted into 1 gal the 7gal are half "supersoil" half roots. Initially I had some issues with the cheesequake some nute burn. I didn't feed them anything but RO water with a bit of blackstrap they didnt seem to like it to much. However things are much improved now basically just on plain ol water. I plan to toss an aact their way soon. In the latest pic you'll notice the fly traps and some potatoes on the soil to get rid of some fungus gnats. Seems to be working great as I haven't seen anymore flyers even when i shake the plants. I also used some beneficial nematodes. I welcome any tips comments, and I'll be working on keeping the pics coming weekly.. HOPEFULLY twice a week.
