ready to harvest??? (bud pic's) my first indoor grow :)!

it's a 40% sativa plant. sativa typically takes longer, pure sativa can go 15 weeks (flowering time), we had western winds go 14. be patient, look at other harvesting posts with photos and you'll see your plant has a ways to go...exactly how long no one knows....the plant will decide when its ready...rushing it causes a loss of potency and yield and you've come this far why fuck it up cause of a week or three. you'll notice when a plant is ready the fan's are yellow/dieing the pods are swollen full, the hairs calyx's are shrinking, turning red, etc. also read and read and then read some more. there's a lot of info on this site and about 80% is incorrect posted by kids that did one grow and are now experts.

I hear you too, but sad that only maybe 5% of the growers will ever realize what you, myself and handful of others believe and know to be the truth. Why? Because we tried it and seen, tasted, smoked the difference the ability to think for ourselves and not ask blindly and blindly follow.

Those plants are definitely done.

Leaf color has nothing to do with ripeness of bud. Period.
Most of your trichs are probably amber by now, because that looks like it's past its harvest time.

I don't really go by trichs though, I know it's the best method, but I've always gone by pistils and if the buds "looked done" to me. It's something that you gain with experience. What was your nutrient regimen? Did you overfeed the shit out of your plants? (doesn't look like it because the leaves look healthy and the plant looks pretty damn good). If no to both of these you don't really need to flush.

The importance of flushing is to get the excess salts out of your medium. You can tell when a plant needed to be flushed because the buds will taste really "spicy" if not cured properly. This is because most liquid nutrition (excluding teas) gives nutrients to the plant by skipping the exuding process of microbes and putting nutritious salt directly in the rhizosphere. What isn't used is left in your medium and can build up the more and more you use nutes. If you didn't use nutes, or you barely used any at all, you probably do not need to flush.

im using FloraMiro,Gro,bloom nutrient, Yes Maybe I gave them a little too much in flower room? why
is it inportent to flush in DWC?

how about the drying? how do i dry in still keeping taste as much as possible

You don't even need that to see it needs more time, have me or any other grower that "knows" a ripe plant that is "ready" for harvest and they can spot them with their eyes its that pronounced. The only reason I can say everyone has an issue with this is that they always chop too early, good for use growers who "know". Let's not tap the glass on the fish tank?!
