I would find out the laws in your state and get rid of however many plants that you need to so that it will only be a misdemeanor charge if you do happen to get busted. Get rid of scales, so they can't charge you with trafficking too. Then I would take my chances because that is basically how I do it. Although I'm just growing for personal smoke, I have been in serious trouble for trafficking weed and got a felony conviction for it 14 years ago. I'm not on any probation or anything anymore, but if I do get busted it will only be a slap on the wrist without any jail time involved. There must be a reason they suspect. Is the blind/ shutters always down on that room? Any light leaking outside? Fan noisy ? In basement, no light leaks at all and no smell. Noise from fan is loud....but I doubt that can equate to what I'm doing. I can barely hear the hum when its late night and Im in my bed. So during awake hours there is other noise too. Can't imagine how she/he knows.........that is what drives me nuts more then anything.

I use a dimmer switch to make the vent fan quieter when lights are off. My last fan was so noisy it could wake the dead, let alone the neighbours.

I remember a story abt a grow that got busted coz of fan noise. The old lady next door had a policeman for a son!! They knew from the times they could hear it !!

Or you can just call a lawyer and ask them straight up what the particulars are in your state and maybe even county. I can have up to 4 plants and its only a misdemeanor in Kentucky and anything over 4 is a Class D felony. These laws change to if you have been convicted of cultivation before and get caught a 2nd time even if its only a 1st offense misdemeanor charge you can get a felony charge since it's your 2nd time being charged with the same crime. I don't know if that makes any sense to anyone or not because its kind of hard to explain.

and that makes perfect sense. its like that for any crime. if its your first offence the sentence is always lighter then what it would be if its your second or tenth.

She was flipping out cause a random dude ran thru my yard into hers....and yes she was loud about it, yelling and other peeps were outside. Thats also a concern. She said something to the effect "Did they come outta your house cause my son told me he saw you growing weed in the basement" yeah I think she said he "saw me" which again I haven't a clue how? They put holes in the walls and look thru or something?

Correct so stick to ur guns - not literally!! They can't come in so don't let them. This is what I'd do. If carbon filter gets damp at 70% RH, it will be too damp to work so u need a small quiet desk fan to keep moving the air. Another option is to build an acoustic box to put the fan in. I have 3 different fans. 2 x TT and one ruck fan. The ruck is really noisy so not in use, the large TT was buzzing at night (I had to sleep with ear-plugs!! ) so i've swapped to the smaller TT plastic vent fan (with dimmer) and use the AC more which is a normal sound! plus everyone has them here.

Is ur fan too powerful for the size of the room or the current weather ? Maybe u should look into this.

(1) 6" Australian Virgin Carbon Filter 530 CFM

So I don't really know if that is too much fan for my 5x5 tent. I got the package deal so I assume that the seller knows they shit, no?

Im am in a house a duplex with only 1 connected neighbor. Welp....at my old house I did 2 runs and brought the trash with me....since I moved in haste. So i have all that junk/trash and the past 2 of mine here. So about.....yuck.....20 contractor bags. All kindsa shit in them too. Dump run (nervous dump run at that) seems to be my only hope.
