How could Obama let this be published in 1991? Did he write it? Only two possibilities come to mind:

1. He let it go out, knowing that it was a lie, because it advanced his "street cred".
2. It is true.

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/05/17/The-Vetting-Barack-Obama-Literary-Agent-1991-Born-in-Kenya-Raised-Indonesia-Hawaii

"Barack Obama, the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review, was born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii. The son of an American anthropologist and a Kenyan finance minister, he attended Columbia University and worked as a financial journalist and editor for Business International Corporation. He served as project coordinator in Harlem for the New York Public Interest Research Group, and was Executive Director of the Developing Communities Project in Chicago’s South Side. His commitment to social and racial issues will be evident in his first book, Journeys in Black and White."

"The booklet, which was distributed to "business colleagues" in the publishing industry, includes a brief biography of Obama among the biographies of eighty-nine other authors represented by Acton & Dystel. "

"
Archive.org shows that the Dystel website used the following biography for Obama as of April 3, 2007:

BARACK OBAMA is the junior Democratic senator from Illinois and was the dynamic keynote speaker at the 2004 Democratic National Convention. He was also the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review. He was born in Kenya to an American anthropologist and a Kenyan finance minister and was raised in Indonesia, Hawaii, and Chicago. His first book, DREAMS FROM MY FATHER: A STORY OF RACE AND INHERITANCE, has been a long time New York Times bestseller."

this thread promises to be popular among morons, bigots, knuckle draggers, sloped forehead people, and people still vicariously living the 2008 smear campaign alike.

Personally, I still think the big O was born in the USA. These representations that he was born in Kenya do reflect pretty poorly on Obama, though. That web site and the booklet were put out by his literary publicist, so I can't believe that Hussein did not know about them, hence I have to conclude that he let the "born in Kenya" statement go and was lying because it enhanced his image as a "prodigy who rose against impossible odds". People have been fired for lying on their resume in such a manner. Just another indication that he is less than admirable.

you know what else is no good to have on a resume?

a history of publishing racist, bigoted, conspiracy theory laden newsletters. and then lying about them. then blaming your campaign aides for your lies.

a history of writing bills that call homosexuality, or even the mere suggestion of it, unacceptable.

a history of opposing civil rights and calling segregation and jim crowism merely "bad things", not unconstitutional.

who would support someone with a history like that?

LOL!

Fair enough. I am troubled by the newsletters too. The rest is a load of crap.

Ron Paul makes up for those shortcomings by being truly against the drug war as opposed to flip-flopping when politically expedient. Ron Paul is truly against pursuit of empire (the wars) as opposed to saying it during the 08 campaign then, upon being elected, simply turning into Bush III. Ron Paul truly wants a limited, constitutionally constrained federal government as opposed to the largest expansion of federal government in history.

Obama has demonstrated, by his actions and in-actions, where he stands. I will take a libertarian any day over anybody in the major parties. Speaking of which, Gary Johnson is polling at 7% in New Mexico and 6% in Nebraska. If GJ maintains those numbers it will be an all time high for a declared Libertarian, and it bodes poorly for Obama or Romney; I am not sure which will be hurt by defection to the libertarian side.

The man admits himself in his own book he was born in kenya. That's been a part of his biography since 20 years ago all the way up to 2007.
What more do you want?
His grandma was coming out on record saying the same thing when he was running for POTUS but she died the same fucking week she said that.
What more do you want?:-o
