Acid, I guess I am slow learner, fell 38 ft once, didn't slow me a lick!!! lol....rw
Niceee, but I got fucked up by falling down lol my left arm has more titanium then a space shuttle, and now I got a freaking fear of heights but only when I'm up on the roof or standing on a scaffol, so I'm done with roofign ;)

So yesterday I got three new 3000k T5 bulbs got them already inside the box and to my surprise the temps only grew by 1 degree, so I'll leave them running for the rest of the grow. If the temps will spike up again I'll just turn off one or two of them to get the temps down. So that's a lil update on my end. Have a nice and "sunny" day guys.

sounds like a plan man. yeah the red spectrum will really fatten those babies up. so you added 3 more bulbs? i suppose it wouldnt increase if there were 3 open spots and you just filled them in. its the ballasts that are the heat generators. T5 bulbs can be touching the plants.

Hey Monster morning I see your up early lol, yeah will see if it do any good :) Yeah the t5 are cool to touch but still I wouldn't want any of my leafs to be touching them and here comes my question, would it be fine to put some kind of a screen on on that t5 panel? let's say like a windows screen that we use to keep the bugs out, or would it block the light to much?

Monster you rite buddy the ballast is generating the most heat, but I installed two pc fans on each side of the t5 so the cool air from the bottom of the box is pulled and thrown onto the t5 bulbs so that's way maybe my temps only grew by a degree.

good morning good sir!

why bother? they literally can be touching. no exaggeration. i wouldnt cover the lights with ANYTHING. not a mad scientist like most of our friends on here, so i dont know exactly WHAT will be blocked, but i know that even glass takes away some useful uva and uvb so...lol. idk. i wouldnt cover the lights at all.

bro where did you order your seeds from i am in massachusetts and was wondering if you could lead me in the right direction of who to buy seeds from

Monster yes sir, I was thinking the same if I cover the lights with something it would def. block some kinds of rays lol. So I'll just leave it like it is and let them njoy their new lights lol

Good morning guys, how is every 1 doing this fine saturday morning? I got a quick question before I had out, some of my fan leafs got burned by one of the t5 bulb, is it fine to snip the tips of the leafs where it got burned? it's all like crispy and sh*t but just the tip of it not the whole leaf. Thx guys and have a nice and "sunny" day.

yeah you can snip them but its not going to do anything benificial. wont hurt the plant either so really its just for satisfying your own cosmetic needs.

yeah i have a few burns on my mother cause shes too tall for my veg cab, just move em so theyre not too close anymore and leave em. they grow out of the burns if theyre not too terrible. if not that leaf isnt as efficient. and ugly. but oh well not worth clipping.

Hey guys Thx, so I just cut the burned tip off and left the rest of the leaf how it was...damn it's hot today....got another question lol which I cant find an answer to or I'm just not trying hard enough..the D.R's pistils turned dark orange almost like rusty color, 75% of the pistils looks this way and the rest is still white, I'll post some pictures but dont know if you can see it good IMAG0286.jpgIMAG0287.jpgIMAG0288.jpgIMAG0289.jpgIMAG0290.jpg is this normal for them to turn this color like 4 weeks away from being done?

I just cut of the burned tip and left the rest alone, and moved the plant away from the light, but today it's so hot that I'm only running 1 out of 3 of those lights and the temps seem to be steady at 83F with 20% RH and the ambient temp of 91F
