not bad for a half-assed job as you put it. Wish I could make a late nite mistake and order another pannel. how are you managing temps? BTW the blackstar flower models are powerhouses in veg. Those sativas look like they are gunna need about 75 days. Im subbed up to see how they turn out. Good job so far!

Yeah, it's always fun when the doorbell rings and the fedex, ups, usps, dhl guy is standing there with a box. It's like "Ok, Wonder what I got this time".

So far temps have not been an issue at all, If anything I might have to keep some CFL's in there for side lighting/extra heat. As of right now the only thing I have keeping temps down is a PC fan hooked up to a 12v adapter with a passive intake. Temps range from 68F at the bottom to 82F six inches from the lights.

One of the liberty haze phenos is a monster. Already frosting over real nice, taller than the rest and the pistils have been browning for the past 7-10 days now. Far ahead of the other three. I really wish I took clones from that one but she just wasn't showing these traits at the time. I flipped the lights about 50 days ago and I'd have to agree it seems like they're going to need 70-75 days. Possibly might harvest that one earlier depending on how she looks.

Update: Return of the white mold? Found a very thin layer of "white" on the outside of the smart pots, maybe 20% of the pots surface. Only the 4 pots with the Liberty Haze. There is nothing going on in the soil though. I'm not sure what to make of it. I took a rag and soaked it in hydrogen peroxide and wiped down the outsides of the pots. I guess I'll have to keep an eye on them. Also, It looks like the Haze has some magnesium deficiencies? Just started giving the girls Cal-Mag last week. Hopefully that will ease things a bit before I start their flush before harvesting.

Ok, I think I have discovered why I have started having moisture problems which has me bugging out about mold. It appears the fan inside my tent hasn't been on since.... well, since who knows? Not the exhaust fan, the fan I use for air circulation. I must've unplugged it or turned it off or something and I never flipped it back on!

Well, I turned the fan on this morning and my humidity is back down to about 35% and the soil in my pots is finally starting to dry out some. It has been 6 days since I watered and the soil was still pretty moist.

So there you have it. AIR CIRCULATION IS IMPORTANT.

As stupid as is sounds I'm kinda stressed out by how easy this grow has gone. Considering it is my first grow I thought for sure I was going to be battling all sorts of problems. Other than the heat issues from the first week or two everything has been as smooth as a strippers ass!

2 or 3 weeks to go, let's hope I didn't just jinx myself.

I feel you with the fan unplugedI made a "reminder sign" that hangs on the inside door of my grow room door. Its a reminder to make sure I didn't unplug anything or forget to put plants back in the tent lol. Since I usually have a smoke while gardening, its easy for me to overlook a few things and the sign is a helpful reminder....sometimes

Hey Beng, your back! I was beginning to wonder where you ran off to?! How have things been bro?

The 4 big girls are currently on day 58 of flowering and looking nice. They're supposed to be ready in 60-65 days but I'm not chopping them until I feel it's time. They smell great and are frosting over real nice but I still think I have 10-14 days to go. The calyxs have started to fatten up nice and there are lots of brown pistils now. It's getting exciting, I just need to be a little more patient. Photo update in a few days. I promised myself I'd wait a week before posting mroe. lol.

Sometimes you need a reminder post-it to remind you to read the reminder sign. lol.

It doesn't irk me so much that I forgot to turn the fan back on, What bothers me more is that I didnt notice for a week. I think it's because the fans on the LED are louder than the circulation fan so it just always sounds on. But that was defintely the promblem because I've had no signs of mildew/mold since and the plants are airing out after feedings much better. Hopefully I won't be making that mistake again! lol. (Yeah, right!)

Oh, hell yeah!

I completely forgot I had that BS240 on the way! I know I said no pictures for a week but I just had to snap a few photos after taking the CFL's out and tossing the new LED in.

I moved the BS180 to left over the 3 week old flowering plants and tossed the BS240 on the right side over the Liberty Haze that is almost ready to harvest.

Agreed! I felt as though I was saturating the thread every 2 days or so though. Not much you can update picture wise, They're all kind of going to look the same. I'm thinking less updates but a lot more pictures per update!

I'm so glad some of the LED regulars are checking out my thread. At least I know I've got some knowledgeable people to keep me in check and guide me. This grow started out so small and spiraled into something I'm very proud of.... But enough babbling...

It's kind of a mixed bag with these girls. I think I'm going to have to harvest them individually as they're ready. Two of them are still a few weeks away and I'm not even thinking harvest yet, but two others are further along and look like they may be ready to harvest within 2 weeks or so. I haven't scoped any of them yet but I will be tomorrow, Maybe even later today and then I'll have a better idea but those 2 are getting that "almost ready" look.

Scoped the one that looked the most mature. I don't know what to think now.

Trichs were mostly cloudy and some were darker with some clear mixed in. I'd say 70% cloudy, 10% clear, 20% "darker" (still wouldnt call them amber)

What has got me confused is the trichs don't look right. Many are bulbous little balls with no real stem. Just kind of balled up on the leaves. Any trichs that aren't bulbous are long but spiked with no real "head"... I've really got to get me a USB scope so I can post photos in the future.

I'm gonna wait another week and then scope her again.
