Dead Leaves

Question, my plants will flowering 5 weeks this sunday. I diagnosed what i believe to be a magnesium deficiency by useing the sticky in sick plants on this site. i watered with an epsom salt and water solution this morning. due i repeat process again?? also lower leaves are just dieing and falling off, is this normal this far into flowering?? should i cut off lower growth that doesnt have buds on them?? this is first time i ever got plants this far and i want to do it right...... Please, all advise welcome

If i had new flowers emerging at the bottom when i've been flowering for 5 weeks i would probably cut that growth off because you'd rather save that energy for well developed flowers on the surface who are more exposed to sunlight thus exponentially yielding more.

it should be ok ,if you dont see any improvement within the next 5-10 days then i repeat again. Take in mind damaged leaves don't heal so you should be checking to see if any more appear on fresh sites and new growth. The leaves falling off is not a prob as they do shed loads through flowering .
Your plants look fine in them pics. Don't cut off anything i wouldn't advise triming over 1wk in too flower ..
Whats your setup? Nutes and lighting?

I'm Useing Canna Nutes. Terra Vega thru vegging and terra flora, boost and pk13/14 dureing flowering i vegged under T-5 Flouresents and for flowering i have 17 CFL's with a 3 to 1 mix, 2700K/ 6400K. hope this is succesful. Nirvana seed bank says NYPD flowers 9 to 12 weeks but i'm keeping an eye on the trichromes.....
