I can't watch that stuff it makes me so sad and depressed that hmans can treat animals the way they do.
I just got a puppy that was being neglected right in front of my house, I askedd the dude if he wanted rid of the puppy and he gave it to me.
I took him home and 2 days later found out he had Parvo, That was 3 weeks ago maybe 2 any way.

I donate $$ every year to our local animal shelter. I just drop a check in their mailbox after a good season.
All of my dogs are 'rescue dogs'.
I can't watch that commercial either!
I read a article that the Westminster Dog Show, stopped using the sad dog adds, and switched to the 'happy dog finds a home' commercials, and get a better result.

damn, parvo 3 weeks ago... and now like this! awesome... he will make an awesome best friend/smoke buddy/ partner in crime...
I love my dog... pure breed American Pitbull... did not cut the ears as i think that is cruel to any dog...

oh shit... man that is cruel... I would not take my dog ever to get his balls chopped. He would be incomplete and i think that is the cruelest form of animal cruelty

no, I am a good care giver. I am in the search for my dog's bride per se. I want good offspring, not muts... my dog is an indoor dog, so you got a good point.

Nope, if you turn in response to feeling disgusted or shocked, it makes you a sensitive person. I am an animal rescuer. I take in strays and support the rescue shelter...But I hate those shock commercials. Does animal abuse look like that...no, it is actually worse. Those commercials are made to shock and move people into donating. I think it does the opposite. Normal people don't want to see hurt or abused animals and the human instinct is to turn away. I think the same happens when commercials show emaciated children. A lot of people who would help could not take it long enough to get the message. Some people think that is the correct way to show the problem. I think it hurts the cause. Talk about it. Inform about it. But don't offend your target audience. Some can take it, but most don't want to or can't.

I have two pitbulls they had one altercation before when I first got my puppy. I got him from somebody that's known to fight dogs , gave him $200 just to get the dog as far away from him as possible. I hate people that fight pitbulls with a Passion. My older pitt used to try and avoid the younger one whenever she could. They didn't really get along but I forced them to sleep together, eat together , play together. Now they are inseparable.
One barks they both bark.
One takes off running after something so does the other one haha

It's more so bad owners giving the breed a bad rep.
Pitbulls are byfar the most loyal breed I've ever owned.
