Problems need help please?

Im one and half weeks into my grow and my seedling leaves started shooting up toward the sky andmy stem is looking a bit off colored....what could all this mean please help people. thanks.

looks to be reaching for the light how high is it and what are you using as for the purple stem could be genetics alot of my seedlings stems start out purple then fades out once the start to take off

100% bang on ... yer wee plants ok , most stems are purple in the begining ... you should happy wae it so far, reaching up,up up !

Mine were purple for 3 weeks untill I put them outside, then they got fat and green. Move the lights down.

the lights were like 3 inches away im using cfls right now....im just new to all this so i dontknow what to look for or anything.

lovely seedling, leafs responsive to the light, is exactly what you wan't. The purple stem is genetic, this can happen later as a sighn of cool enviroment or k deficiancy. Not the case here to young to have a deficiancy. It would get everything it needs at this stage if it grew out of a cork. Keep it up your on your way nice seedling.

looks great! no problems here. just be careful not to overwater, and dont fertilize for several weeks! that soil looks pretty good, what type is it?
