Also,How often should I repot? Me and another person keep arguing over it,I SAY repot as much as possible for a bigger plant,But then again Im seeing monsters in a 4 gal.

THEY SAY That When you repot it alot The roots will just shoot down to the bottem and stunt growth,But For me I would like to know what RIU thinks,

Also does anyone know whats wrong with the 2nd thumbnail of the tiny Purple? Its friends are bigger and that one is tiny,I checked if it needed to be repotted but the roots are not really showing much on bottem So I kept it in that pot.

To me there is no such thing as root bound.. ive seen 6 foot monsters in a 1 gallon pot. Ive grown 2 foot plants to flower in party cups. And I dont reccomend all those bloom ferts.. U shud go organic. Wud u boil all those ferts and inhale the vapor? No, so why wud u put em in plants that ur gonna smoke?? Use things like earthworm castings, bat guano, chicken scat, coffee grounds, egg shells, and ash.

You don't have to go organic. It's about getting good results with what you have. And with a proper flush at the end of your cycle you will get rid of all the unwanted buildup of salts and force the plant to use what's left resulting in nice buds. :)

As far as repotting goes I start in rockwool or plugs, move to a 1/2 gallon or 1 gallon pot/bag, then transplant into it's final container no less than 10 gallons. Can you grow a 6ft plant in a 1 gallon container? Yes you can. But wouldn't you rather give your plants room to grow?

C Cat please keep in mind that you are going to get 7-8 different opinions on what you should do in any given situation when you ask here. All I ask is that you research the suggestions that you get PRIOR to making any changes in your grow. You will find that some info is good, some is bad, and some methods just may not be your cup of tea. When in doubt don't do it! Get on the internet and research!

Good Luck!

A little info on Rootbound.

http://www.amsterdamcannabisseeds.com/what-are-root-bound-marijuana-plants.html

Root-bound is a term to describe marijuana plants that have outgrown their container. Healthy roots in a marijuana plant is something to be very much desired as they are the foundation for healthy heavy yielding cannabis seeds. However when roots become wound up like a ball of hemp twine they'll begin hurting the marijuana plant. It's important that your cannabis seeds don't become root bound marijuana plants.[h=2]How to tell if your marijuana plant is root bound.[/h]Stunted Growth. Stretching.
Smaller and slower marijuana bud production.
Marijuana plant needs watering too often.
Wilting.
[h=2]How To Solve Root Bound Marijuana Plant Problems[/h]Before you start, run a transplanting trowel or a long, flexible knife (dedicated for marijuana gardening only) between the old pot and your marijuana plant root-ball. It's best if the marijuana plant is completely dry.A dry root bound marijuana plant is easy to transplant. For a root-bound marijuana plant with a strong, woody stem: hold the marijuana plant stem firmly and lift it up so the pot is off the ground. Tap down around the pot rim with a rubber hammer or piece of wood until the pot lets go.Often times the container will just fall off the marijuana plant.Often times a root bound marijuana plant will pull away from the container.By transplanting a root bound cannabis plant when the soil is perfectly dry the transplant will be much easier.Another way is to turn the plant and pot upside down, holding the cannabis plant so it won't crash on the ground when it comes free of the pot. Make sure there's enough clearance to the ground, or you'll smash your marijuana plant.Once you've freed the pot plant from its old pot, inspect its roots, if the roots run in a tight circle around the outside of the root ball, you got there just in time. It's important to loosen up these roots. Some damage will be done to them, putting your marijuana plant in shock. But it'll be fine in a few days.Dig your fingers into the outside 1/2" of these circular roots, loosen the ends up and pull them gently outward. If the roots are very tight, cut two or three 1/2" incisions from top to bottom on the outside of the root-ball.This process may seem cruel, but it gives the roots an opportunity to stop their circular growth habit and begin to grow outward.
Just my opinion.

I usually start seeds in a party cup, once they outgrow that I transplant to 3 gallon to sex the seeds in. Once I know the sex I kill the males and move the females to whatever size pot I want to finish in ... The Less transplating the better but you also dont want to put a un-sexed plant in a 100 gallon pot a d waste all those good nutes, At least I wouldn't want to.

If you leave them in a one gallon too long it will slow down growth a lot

And the only reason I suggest going organic is bcuz I dont want to be inhaling all those chemicals that are in ferts... u can get the same results using animal crap lol.. and we already eat that because thats wat all of our food is fertilized with. Idk.. its up to you.. but like I said, wud u drink or inhaled those bloom products straight up??

Would you eat your organic ferts straight up? Didn't think so. ;)

No, but they already fertilize the vegetables that we eat so theres no problem. And actually things like coffee grounds and egg shells come from stuff that we directly eat. And using decomposed animal fecies is already part of the natural life cycle.. no added chemicals or nothing.

All true but you need compost all of that ahead of time. Going organic may not be a possibility for some due to the amount of prep work and overall time needed. You have to get each individual part of the recipe and mix it in proper amounts to make sure that your plants can make it through the season. For beginning growers it is simply easier to go mainstream and give organic a try once they are a little more experienced.

AND... I'm just gonna say this.... If you really cared that much about what you put into your body you wouldn't be burning and ingesting plant matter and the paper/tobacco wrapper. People have been smoking chem grown weed for years.... Is organically grown weed better for you than properly flushed chem grow? Not sure but I hear alot of arguments both ways. I can tell you this though. When I smoke.. I get high. LOL
