Method: Hydo ---> Ebb and Flow
Light: T5 for seeding, 1000W HPS for veg and flower.
Nutes: Technaflora's BC lineup
I've got 2 weeks left with this sexy moma and I gotta say it was a blast. First of all, it was my first grow, but nonetheless this what I've got to say:
All feminized seeds sprouted no problem. A really resilient plant. I know I had the lights a little bit far away for the first month or so they stretch out a bit; fixed this issue and I think the plant just wants to stretch, but did decrease in further node lengths (this could be due to HPS' light spectrum as well, but meh). I think it was mostly the sativa mix that caused this attribute; I would have like to have seen it bit bushier, but topping the plants helped a lot. I was able to top the plant often (giving a few days of rest) without much stress at all. The Cola's are amazing though with orange hairs just like the website shows. If you click on the pictures on the website (URL above) they look exactly like that, especially with the orange hairs! There has a been a couple (but few) times where the pH has dropped below 5.8 (~5.6) and the plant never showed much stress. Once you get the watering schedule dialed in, you can sit back and watch.
I was using Technaflora's BC Nutrients and started around 600 ppm and am now up to 2250ppm for this last week of flower (slowly brought it up) and they've been doing great. I noticed a bit of a leathery look appear once nutes were introduced (could have been overwatering a tad at the beginning), but they grew up and I could start adding nutes no problem. I plan on making hash with my Bubble Ice Bags with the sugar leaves and will let you know how it and the bud turns out.
Bottom Line: I would recommend this strain, especially for beginners. The aroma is awesome with a very small hint of that sweet fruit smell every now and again. They don't stress out much at all! Plus it's a nice mix of sativa and indica so it should be a nice, non-overwhelming high. The website states ~20% THC. I think I might grow another batch if I like it as I've become attached, the tri's are amazing looking. But I might try to grow a hash plant next as well, we'll see.
Check out the website for the grow session video from start to finish.
P.S.
I am in no way affiliated with the company nor am I trying to endorse their product for them. Take my input as is, as a fellow grower.
