I swear I wouldn't know.... I just ordered DJ Short Azure haze for the attitude June jubilee (basically blue dream. A Silver Haze mother, Bay Area origin clone, pollenated by the famous 'stretch-indica' blueberry male to create the same cross as the Blue Dream. The Azure Haze, however, is one generation closer to the P1 landrace ancestry--the Blue Dream cross used an f5 Blueberry male, whereas the 'stretch-indica' Blueberry male used in the Azure Haze parentage is an f4.)

Nice plants, I love my Blue Dream so much I had to order the seeds. especially since they are from DJ Short. Unlike a lot of pollen chucking breeders DJ Short works with the strain before releasing it. all seeds in the pack will be the same unlike others where you can expect 3+ phenos. DJs cocoa kush vary a bit but they tell you before ordering them that 15% of the plants from this line will sport variegated growth patterns (a little different color). The other 85% will grow uniform plants with slight variation in height.

The problem is that when clubs here the name blue dream, they think shitty b grade outdoor. It took me months to find a club to carry my blue dream. But now one of the managers of the store does OD blue dream too. To unload his blue dream he was alternating days selling mine one day and his the next. Custormers started complaining because they'd buy mine, and then when they came back they ended up with his and it was shit. Basically, because mine was so much better than his he could no longer sell his own. So for that reason the club is no longer carrying mine... It's frustrating. I've got lab tested 20% thc blue dream, but everywhere I go clubs don't want it because they are making too much cash buying crappy OD blue dream which tests out at 14%, but they can buy it for $1500 a pound.
I was going to just start calling it blueberry haze, but azure haze has a nice ring to it. I like it.

The clubs are mostly all gone her in Sac, bullied out of business, and while that makes my angry as hell, I still have a network of card holders that would buy all the BD that I could provide them if I hadn't already sold all but my own stash.

Nope not yet. I got them hoping to replace the current Blue Dream Momma. The BD I have now works amazing for me so I'm hoping the Azure grows near as well and I can get a good seed momma. The fact that they're from DJ Short saved me a couple dollars, I only had to buy one pack instead of 2 and now I have more free seeds to add to the collection.

LOL! Sucks but I know what you mean, I met a guy that swore he didn't like bd because of all the crap bd floating around. After trying mine he wanted cuttings! If I had to go to a club and get smoke, I would rather the good stuff be on the shelf under a different name than not at all. Especially if the name change still told me the strains used and the effects to expect! This beautiful girl's got a bad rap from some but I'm glad to see some of us keep the DREAM alive!
