Veg to Bloom

Hello, everyone . Hoping to get some help and tips from long time growers that might be willing to help a brother out . I recently finished my first grow and could say wasnt so bad and wasnt so great. Didnt use much nutrients during veg, only tiger grow n some calmag here n there, for bloom gave it sweets liquid karma pure bloom monster bloom and cha ching. looks great just not so big and dense as we all want them to be. [Edit] sorry forgot to mention been growing in soil

My questions is, what is the best way from lighting to topping to nutrients from veg to bloom to get the best and biggest buds?. Is there a certain veg nutrient i must use during veg period for my plants to grow nodes close to each other rather then all spread out every where and small like my last harvest? and what nutrients to use during bloom to get big dense nugs with multiiiii trinchomes!! best base nutrients for veg and bloom? and bloom additives? Hope someone understands and helps . Thanks keep on growing!!!![Edit] And now trying to switch to hydro rockwool or aero and OG strains what is the best nutrients for OG strains if any experienced growers? any help will be appreciated!

Long node spaces, and your buds aren't a dense as you like? Sounds like you need more light. What are you using?

Long node spaces, and your buds aren't a dense as you like? Sounds like you need more light. What are you using?

Yes, long spaces between nodes. I been using 1000 watt MH during veg and 1000 watt HPS for bloom.

I know that blue heavy light can help with node spacing. Aside from that, I think it's mostly genetics. What strain did you grow?

I grew different kind of strains, white widow, crystal, blackberry kush, blue dream, they all grew pretty small and far from each other. Maybe I should keep the light closer during veg?

You should always have your light as close as you can get it while maintaining good coverage.

Kool ill keep them much closer next time, also is it better to just run the 1000 watt during veg for 24hrs when clones and still small? Then switch to 18/6.
So theres no such nutrients anyone uses to get better nodes and buds?

how many girls are you keeping under it and how long do you veg for? i would do around 10 for maximum density and def use good sized pots. look into pruning techniques if you havent already! those are my tips for the day. Advanced Nutrients will get you there no doubt those guys are just hekka pricey..
