Is it weird that I still have REALLY strong feelings about my ex girlfriend even though our relationship sucked and we have already been broken up for two months? Plus she already has a new boyfriend.

Like, she said her current boyfriend treats her like shit. Calling other girls hot, watching porn, and he wants to go to a strip club. Now those are all things that she is against so I told her to tell him to stop or she will break up with him and honestly I was hoping she woke break up with him cause I really want to get back together with her.

We dated for 13 months and I absolutely loved the girl to death. I would take a bullet for her. What should I do RIU?

P.S. - moving in a couple of weeks, likely 45 minutes from where she lives

just tell her you still like her, her current boyfriend is a jerk, and you wanna try to work it out again. .....and don't be taking no bullets for any chick. that crazy talk right there. lol

Thanks guys. I think I'm going to hang out with her sometime this week and tell her. Because ever since we broke up I've never really been happy before. Like, this girl was my day and night. The first person I wanted to talk to in the morning and the person I fell asleep texting every night.

So yeah I really love this girl. She's been there for me so many times, and we've been through more things than some married couples go through

I broke up after 4 years. Its been about 3 months so far and I`m not sure what *recovering* is :)

Love is an awesome thing. Being content in our strive for happiness is also a good thing.

If the boyfriend is a knob, and your still single, and you still like her, I think there is no question to ask to RIU. Start thinking of how you will get her back! You know this best, 1 years experience with her, put some thought to it and I`m sure you`ll have your own way =)

I think I'm. Going to invite her to go to the beach with me. Then we can go and get some ice cream and really talk about things. We've been talking still since we broke up, and it just got not awkward doing it.

So yeah, im actually pretty happy right now because I thought of this. I've been so unhappy but now I have a chance to.be happy again :)

From the sounds for her boyfriend he can`t possibly give a damn about her. Basicly what has happened here is that you guys broke up after 13 months, and the girl just went and got a random guy to chill herself. Its not going to last, the guys trip is propably just to "get with birds". Your girls trip is a short one, and will eventually end.

On a side note, you get to know more about this girl. Who is this guy, what did she see in him during this sudden strive? Its all valuable positive information use it all to your advantage :D

But make it better and special for both of you, make some awesome plans. Fantasies my friend!! Arrange it all in your head, you can set her up better than anyone else because you *know her* ;)

it might be best if u just move 45 minutes away from her. from what the op explained, this is a girl no one should be around.
