You need insurance and if you chose not to buy it there will be a fine, chose not to pay your fine and you can go to jail and if you would like to get out early you can work to gain an earlier release, this will be good for the economy and teach people that they need insurance- it is not an option, everyone needs it.

Grilled Defeated Salmon

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 pounds salmon fillets
• lemon pepper to taste
• garlic powder to taste
• salt to taste
• 1/3 cup soy sauce
• 1/3 cup brown sugar
• 1/3 cup water
• 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Directions

1. Season salmon fillets with lemon pepper, garlic powder, and salt.
2. In a small bowl, stir together soy sauce, brown sugar, water, and vegetable oil until sugar is dissolved. Place fish in a large resealable plastic bag with the soy sauce mixture, seal, and turn to coat. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
3. Preheat grill for medium heat.
4. Lightly oil grill grate. Place salmon on the preheated grill, and discard marinade. Cook salmon for 6 to 8 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Serve with some grill asparagus.

BTW, I said there are no out of pocket expenses for not stopping (if not caught) and you brought up the "wear and tear" defense but that has nothing to do with a government mandate to buy health insurance.

the penalty for not buying insurance, which applies only if you can afford to (4x poverty) is about $700.

All I asked was "what would happen if one does not pay the fine?" You answered that, nothing, so after Thursday, it's not going to make any difference, anyway, but if you are trying to sell the idea that if one does not comply with a federal mandate, there are no consequences, I'm not buying.
