One of my buddies 21 year old son wanted my opinion on his plant. It was probably 16 in tall with 2 leaf sets going on the whole plant. Stem no fatter then a toothpick. He was quite proud stating he grew it under his reading light in his closet on the down low! It took everything I had in me not to laugh. Though, I still did. And had the pleaure of ripping that bad boy out of the dirt from his yard and red mulch he used for water retention. Don't have a camera phone wifey does or i'd of got a pic. Anyone got any Sad plant pics we can appreciate?

you guys dont get it? it was stretched beyond what any plant should be, probably bag seed, didnt have a actual grow light to be grown under, had shitty soil with mulch in it, etc. he probably will tell him how to grow it next time if he already hasnt. it wont grow worth shit so why take the risk of getting caught with it

That's beside the point. It wasn't his plant. He had no right to rip it up unless the kid gave him permission. Granted, OP didn't provide enough information to us to know if that's the case or not.

That's what I was thinkin'. He probably told dozer he could pull it.
Everyone's getting their panties in a bunch and we don't even know the facts yet.

Yeah I'm sure he talked the guy into ripping it out but to laugh at someone for being proud of what I'm assuming was a first attempt is kinda lame. Everyone has to start somewhere right?

Holy fuckin" PMS people. Of course I didn't just rip the fucking plant. I explained it wasn't given enough light, proper soil, etc. I said it was my friends kid. Wouldn't be that much of a prick. Anyway i'm hooking him up with a PK clone so he can put it out in the woods and try again. Even giving him a few gallons of my super soil! JEEZ GUYS!! Chill

Nobody was as worked up as you're making it seem. But I digress; I'm glad you had permission.

If you saw the plant you would understand the comedy involved. I guess he even tried topping it. Neither of his parents smoke so he's new school. I am going to help him along though.

I don't doubt the comedy, friend. In the end, it sounds like you definitely did him a favor.

Now if I can convince him not to show anyone where it is he should be all set. Going out tomorrow with him to dig the hole and get some soil in there for a week or so till clone is ready.

This tends to be one of the hardest things with first-time/young growers. They always want to show their plants to everyone who will look. Bad news if the wrong person finds out about them.

I'm going to tell him to just take a pic of it in the woods if he wants to show his buds. I recall a few times years ago trusting friends with the whereabouts of my plants. And having them go MIA!

Yup, I can relate. Except they weren't my plants stolen. I was actually one of the friends that another friend showed (it was his first time and he was excited). He told me that he showed his plants to a ton of his "friends." Then one day they all disappeared.

Actually this happened on two separate occasion with two separate friends of mine. The exact same situation with two different people. Just goes to show you how common it is for people to have their plants stolen by people who they consider "friends."
