Not sure when to harvest...

Ok so im 8 weeks and four days into flowering looking nice ... used my magnifier and i see thecloudy mushrooms but no amber, Still have alot of white hairs on top nugs, but, the lower are bout 50/50 red /white . Do i wait another week?? or so?? its a sativa hybrid under 300 watts HPS , any advise ?? thanks

From what I've heard and seen the general rule of thumb is when trichs are abt 30 to 40% amber. But it's up to you to test harvesting when trichs are clear,milky or amber to see which stone you like best.
btw, not to be an ass hole but those are not shrooms they're trichs...sorry, mean no offense.

Hey! thanks Dee Tee , yeah thats what ive read, im just concerned cuz its been a lil past 8 weeks and no sign of Amber... And hey im cool with the shroom reply , i just just forgot the technical term for it so , No prob.Dude ha ha so i guess wiy it out?? and i dont know how to post pics yet.

Glad you didn't take offence, 8 weeks? sativas tend to take 10 to 12 weeks, of course that depends on conditions such as lights,temps,nutes, and whatever. Those time spans are more or less a guesstimation and are generally based on excelant conditions.

You could always harvest the buds that are ready, and leave the immature buds on till they ripen up.
Throw some pics up when you can

Be patient, your weed will suck if you harvest too soon.

I'm at 12 weeks, still another week or 10 days to go.

So when your buds look like this (shameless plug), you're still a week away, anyway.

Imwould harvest the bud thats already ripe, wleave the rest to rippen up. Not uncommon in indoor growing. Wonthurt the plant at all fyi

oh ...ok now i see what your talking about im jus now gettin a lil frost on the leaves near the buds ... so not even close aaaay? all strands get frosty like that?? sorry i dont know how to post pics fat nugs but no frost...

If you can download you pics from your camera to your computer, remember the file location and name.
In the toolbar, between the smiley and the checkmark, click on the rectangular Icon that looks like a pic of a tree (inset image), select "from computer" then click the bottom "select files", go get you pic
