you seem overly concerned with illegal immigrants voting, perhaps you can show some evidence of this being an actual problem.

and anyone can lose their ID, doesn't mean they should be disenfranchised.
What are you talking about? I went and voted with a temporary license before when I lost mine. You need an ID to do anything anymore, not just vote.

In Las Vegas in 2008 ACORN was registering voters by filling out the forms. They registered Mickey Mouse, Daffy Duck, etc.

Where was the Democratic outrage when the black panthers were intimidating voters with clubs? Oh, that's right, Holder declined to prosecute.
actually, that was bush's DOJ.

and in order to prosecute a case of voter intimidation, you need to have evidence of intimidation in the form of voters. can you name just one single voter who reported being intimidated?

but way to keep on message with the whole "be scared of darkie" run you've been on lately. totally not transparent at all!

we do voting by mail where i live. that way only residents get ballots and no need to disenfranchise people with no ID, which are statistically more inclined to be minorities who vote democratic, facts show.

the only time in the last year i have used my ID was to renew my MMJ card.

We know how florida purges it's voters. the idea may be legal, the practice is evil, nothing new though for Republicans.
This is the first time. Should we have 119% voter turn out like in Madison, Wisconsin? Try not to be so partisan. Voter fraud is real. Stealing elections is evil.

I don't know anything about how they purge but I do know Scott is the Devil. On the surface it makes sense to want only citizens voting so was Obama's challenge to it because they are keeping legal citizens from voting? He's not fighting for the rights of illegals to vote is he? I'm against this if you can show how it keeps citizens from voting, otherwise I don't get the outrage.
I believe Obama IS fighting to allow voter fraud.

well, maybe you shouldn't make racist statements and i would not point out that you are being racist.

it wasn't a last resort, i'm not even past my first resort, which is asking you guys for evidence of the problem.

out of the 110,000,000 or so million votes cast last election, how many were fraudulent and could have been prevented with an ID?

you guys have not even established this as problematic. you're putting the cart before the horse.

you believe you work with nobel prize winners, but you can't even spell second grade words like "compliment" correctly.

so what you believe is kind of not really worth considering.

the last purge was so bad that people who had identical last names but different initials were purged, no one knows the damage that purge did to the voting process in Florida.
They sent letters out, all one had to do was fill out the questionnaire and mail it back. It was prepaid postage, too, for those that will claim it was a "burden" to mail it back. It was only those who had identical first and last names + middle initial, not just last names. There are probably a million "Smiths" in Florida.

As I said in an earlier post, I grew up in Chicago and saw massive, blatant voter fraud first hand and it was Democrats doing it, which does not in any way imply that Republicans would not do it too but I have no first hand knowledge of the Hephalants doing it.

How many cases of voter fraud have been successfully prosecuted in the last 30 years.
If it is such a problem their should be a massive amount of evidence to support the assertion
While I'm shocked we don't have a czar of voter integrity maintaining that info in a centralized location but unfortunately we do not. Personally I know a sheriff and a few buddies did or are doing time for voter fraud in Winston Co. Alabama. I also heard of the one in Ft Worth in May looks bad but no conviction yet.

How many cases of voter fraud go unconvicted? I see your impossible question and raise another.

edit: In the spirit of fairness I have to admit that not all fraud is created equal and requiring ID would only curtail a percentage of it, not eliminate it.

It's a start.

anecdotal evidence is so awesome. moar annadotel evdinz pls!

how about you actually produce some actual, credible numbers showing how massive a problem this voter fraud really is? every source i've seen puts the problem at somewhere between negligible and beyond negligible. voter purging is a bigger problem than voter fraud according to every source i've seen.

now produce some real numbers, no more anecdotal evidence from you.

It isn't racist, it is stupid, it is vile, it is purposefuly inhibiting certain people from being able to vote. But the right, because they actually believe that only people like them should be ABLE to vote, think it is just fine.
Certain people=non citizens or persons voting multiple times. Is crying racism the only thing you got?

"I see racists. They're everywhere."
awww, so sad. it hurts to be called out like you and your buddy were. now tell me all about how hard it is to be a white male nowadays. can't even make racist jokes or misquote facts to make it seem like there is a racial favoring going on against whites. so tough. :(

where did he say anything racist in that entire post? he mentions "certain people", and your mind just assumes "minority" or "illegal"?

maybe you or one of your conservative ilk can actually demonstrate what a monstrous problem voter fraud is first. then we can actually have a debate on what the solution ought to be.

So people can just raid the mailboxes and submit their votes at the post office drop box. You don't say
