Just another cool bug ravaging my plants

This little, well big guy was fucking up my plants . Its about the size of my pinky finger just a little longer and a bit fatter. When I got to him all the leafs on one branch were eaten. He was just siting there like so you gonna eat that other branch.

It looks awfully like a caterpillar of the monarch butterfly. back east they were milkweed specialists. you're not growing a cheese strain? cn

Monarch caterpillars are colored the way they are as a warning ... they taste evil and will make you throw up. They gather and store plant toxins, and who knows what he had before ... oleander? cn

yea right lets eat something that has the same colors we humans uses as a hazard warning. Just doesn't sound to smart. Its not a monarch it is missing that white stripe

Monarch caterpillar or not if it was eating my plants I would kill it and any offspring or relations I could find. Then I would poison it's well and kill off any friends or aquaintences.

If you look at monarch caterpillar in Google Images, you'll see a variety of patterns. I was skeptical at first but found an almost-match along with even more variant markings. cn

<edit> Wait!! I take it back. I found a Swallowtail caterpillar that looks like this.

A little off topic but after seeing gordon ramsay pay his kids to collect snails in his garden and then fry them up and feed them to the kids, I swear I am going to eat some of the fucking snails that keep eating my san pedro's and torches...
