Would you stop using cannabis completely to make it legal for everyone?

I'd give it up for all you selfish bastards. Of course I'd take more psychadelics and probably start smoking cigs again.. But I'd attempt to do it.

I have a feeling that I'd only be successful for about 2 months. Then I'd say "fuck it".

I have a feeling these people aren't actually thinking about the problem. Have none of you ever had a family member get in trouble with the law over cannabis? Do you know in some places, the penalty for cannabis is death? Have you guys ever heard of people getting killed for dealing cannabis (It would slow down if cannabis was legal).

I'd stop for them.

If I only used it for recreational purposes I could move on to other things, but I like to use myself as an example when debating with doctors/teachers/police (yes I've done this) making a point of what it can do for people's lives. If I stopped and used another drug to get my rocks off I suppose that'd be a good example (of what hapoens when other/hard drugs seem like a better option) in itself, too.
