anybody tried ever using halogen lights? need help please! newbie here!

Hi Icebox, i'm no expert at indoor growing just started myself. How many plants are you thinking of growing, what size is your grow room ? Try Cfls , grab a couple of 6500k daylight bulbs cool white and a couple of 23 watt soft white cfls, use both spectrums to veg and flowe they are dirt cheap. I'd recommend cfls for a first timer in a nice clean area painted matt white or lined with mylar. Check out the site and stickies, there are endless amounts of well explained info and guides to help the most novice growers. Best of luck.

that is a very nice thread. i already read that thread but not up to the last page, lots of information that i have gathered, some of them aren't clear to me before but as of today i have learned a lot. thanks for it really help out a lot.

yes, so that when i go directly to the hardware store here, i will just ask the salesman on where can i find the 26 watts CFLs bulbs.

yes i need to read more because i need to know a lot more knowledge in lights and other stuffs.

my plant is on LSTed mode and the other one is i don't know what to do with it yet but it also stretch out. (darn).

i also have my first set up of my growbox which is very lame i only put a 9watt GES lamp bulb (sorry guys im a real newbie on growing), check out this thread:

i'm gonna sleep first, i did about a roughly 12hour reading, posting, making new thread here regarding on light and, all those lame lights that i took pictures and trying to think of using it because of cash problems are so lame( i wasted all my time and effort to look for unused lights here in my place and figured it out that at the end of the day all those lights are useless). when i wake up its hardware time! ( i don't have an idea on how much CFL's cost here, i'll be crossing my fingers)
