What Base Nutrient line are you running?

I am in an AN PH-perfect Sensi grow with the hobby kit and I have to say I am impressed, but maybe not much so to justify the price, we will see. The base Sensi is just fine. It has all 16 essentials also http://www.advancednutrients.com/hydroponics/ads/SensiBloom.pdf and at 80$/gal for the A/B pair, is competitive. I run it at 75% recommended strength . It has added fulvic and humics, enzymes and Wet Betty.
Added for early flower is Voodoo juice and Big Bud. Midway you stop Voodoo and add b-52. At the near-end of bloom you stop Big Bud and replace it with Overdrive, so you're using 2 supps at a time. Cost wise the supps equals that of the base. I have seen Dyno, GH, Humboldt, Nova (Glorified Lucas) grows and I have to say Sensi is beating them at this time. I prefer the taste of AN over these but I'm sure there are organic grows , as some have mentioned, superior to AN. I wouldn't dispute that because I haven't tasted an organic grow yet. I don't know what some mean by an AN taste, but like I said, I have a crude palate.
Nutes/supps are costing me ~ 40 a grow. Considering the revenue this grow could take in, the price is easily justified . I just don't understand all the effort and emotions against AN when we, as adults, can come to our own conclusions without some asshat spewing crap about how stupid one must be not using their sacred brand.

As far as these supplements. I am going to substitute Voodoo with bio-root but i've yet to find a cheaper B-52. The Big Bud and Overdrive stays!! Anybody know a good B vitamin supp?

If it has all 16 elements why is it not listed on the guaranteed analysts contained on all fertilizes. It references that fertilizers or soils should supply it in your add link but that's it. The guaranteed analyses is the industry standard and all fertilizers sold must have it on the container. Even much cheaper nutes list the micros and the percentage of them even my lawn fertilizer does LOL.

The link specifically says they have all elements, read it all, it's a couple sentences below where they first mention it. Many of these elements you refer to are so small and are provided incidentally in any grow, provided by water, manure or whatever. What element are you claiming is missing in AN that would be so detrimental to good growth? All ferts do not need to list ALL elements, only those that the manufacture guarantees as part of advertising of the product. Does GH label every element? How about Botanicare? Labeling laws are so complex state-to-state that these labels you see are generic so they pass through most state requirements. Anyways I;m curious what element is missing that makes Dyno superior. No hatin', just curious. It going to take more then a .005% of something to make me drop these nutes when I'm looking at world class growth as it is.

P.S I'm using AN now to test the concept they claim:KISS or plug and play in a sense. I'm no hardcore use all additive type. So far, they are true to word.

I also use AN sensi grow and bloom with the bud candy and a cal mag and i love it. i used GH, fox farms and others but will stick with my sensi stuff and tweek it to my liking

Yes dyna grow labels them all on there guaranteed analyst right on the label and so does flora nova. My understanding is state laws vary somewhat
but the main ting is if its put on the guaranteed analysts label it must contain that much at a minimum and some states will randomly confirm that. The point
is advanced claims to be high quality and is not cheep but they wont guarantee a minimum amount of iron or any micros for example. Hell even lawn fertilizers have micros on there guaranteed analysts.

I am currently only running one DWC hydro plant and I have the AN line. It does well but can not justiy the price especially when I look at the ingrediants and know most of it is mollases and epson salts. I however do like the Voodoo that they doo so well!!

I went back to dirt I can do anything soiless can do with teas. I do not have to check the pH nor change the res, I do not have flush, indure water spills, root rot nor slime. I also do not have to keep fking with hydroton!! I can go away and not have to worry when I come home if my plants are all right. Mostly I can make 100 gallons of soil for about $50 vs the $400 I spent on the full line up of AN.

To me I have to know too much and want to control too much for soiless. Following a nutrient schedual is not rocket science and definatley not challenging enough for me other than the associated head aches I do not have in dirt.

Of course we will not talk quality and taste that is another discussion.

I run AN Sensi A+B or Flora Nova as a base nute.
I have run many brands, these are just the ones I prefer from experience.
I choose something that is easy to use and shows good results.

i used a bunch of products back in the day. i easily had 12 bottles of magic dust and fairy tears. feeding time was a bitch.

now i'm down to sensi A&b, molasses and big bud (i'm going to switch to another bud enhancing mixture this round). i just pulled 14 oz out of a 5 x 5 tent and a 600 watt. if i grew just my heavier yeilders, i would consistently pull 17 oz. i think i'll stay with what works for me.

considering that i'm a big fan of fox farm soils, i think i'll give their bud enhancing nutes a try this round.

i have to buy soil and perlite in the next couple of days and do it all again. i hate this part of the hobby.

The fox farm solubles are great products. Definitely worth a go. Very strong so feed light.

being 100% sustainable organic is the way to go. Love feeding some of my girls only water and the occasional molasses throughout their flowering life

do you mean that you make all those microbial beneficial orgasms(^^) in the soil? AS in composting and super soil type amended soil? can you recommend a good book of thread that i can read to learn a bit about it???

Read around the boards and look at others super soils... I wouldn't build them quite as strong just in case your strain prefers a lighter feed... you can always supplement with a few extra teas along the way and the plant will do a lot of the work in finding out it's own nutrients if you get the right microbes in there...

That being said, always make sure you cook your soil for at least 1 or 2 months first... this is a common mistake that most people make when first starting their super soils..

Ya i need to do my home work in soils. I have been using Fox farms 50% OF, 25% happy frog and 25% perlite. Does ok, but im very new so i dont have much to judge against. I have 2 Waterfarms with air stones in the bottom and they just DESTROY the soil plants in size an speed of growth! I mean i started the waterfarms 3 weeks after the soils and the Waterfarm plants are double the size ez....

As long as the taste is up to par i think ill be going Hydro.....plus its SO much easier to dispose of old water. trying to dispose of 12 pots of soil when you use a cane and cant drive SUCKS!

i did one hydro grow. 5 gallon bubbling buckets. i flipped them into flower, fed them and went to work. when i got home, the plants were fried. it looked like someone burned the leaves with fire. lol

i will NEVER grow hydro again. i'm a stoner and the chances of fucking up are high.

I learned by starting off hydro and here I am still growing hydro. I have dabbled in a couple pots of soil, I just prefer hydro it's what I know and whats easy for me.

I am the exact opposite, I was initially taught hydro and fortunately was given some good oversight during my beginning trials back in the day (mind you mostly synthetics). Hydro was great for overall yeild and in certain aspects it can be a more convenient method of gardening for sure. I always felt, even after years of using a proven methods with certain improvisations, that the finished product's taste was never as robust as expected. One day a buddy of mined showed me the light/pressured me into running soil/organics and the rest is history.

I have met people who shun synthetics and I have also met individuals who tear down indoor growing, but I have never come across a person who knocks organically grown medicine. It's all personal preference of course..

all my pot snob patients would have something to complain about. Like I've heard one of them tell another patient at the farmers market, "I only smoke vegan organic" I love how I have turned people to the other side. Sometimes it is greener on the other side

I started dwc, it was surprisingly easy for not owning a ph meter @ the time.. I have moved onto organics, I used subs supersoil, I am now going back to trying different products to dial my skills & knowledge regarding feeding.

Supersoil is awesome & I like the idea, but it seems to me it is more for someone who is busy & does not want to be messing with their plants a lot. I have been told you can grow better pot if you take the time to dial in a good feeding schedule with decent nutes, rather than hope your supersoil is the end all be all.

I can honestly say that organic is a over all better taste, I have no problem admitting that and unless you are a grower yourself you really cant tell the difference.
