nearly ready how much longer?

I think it's funny how whenever someone asks how much longer, the response is always another week or two.
My question is this:
What kind of high are you wanting your plants to produce?
But usually what people always say is; When you think your plants are done, give them another week minimum.
Have you flushed them yet? If not, use this time to flush your plants using plain water.
They look great by the way. Good job! :hump:

Lol, I noticed that also. No matter what photo you post everyone will always tell the guy he needs anouther week or two.

So hard to tell from pictures.

I'd say 3 weeks anyway. Post pics again in 2 weeks.

Your buds are going to get a lot fatter before they're ready.

Think it would help more to ask what strain and how long are you into flower before blurting out a random length of time. You should be able to research your strain and get a flowering time that will put you in the ball park. OR you can get a 60x microscope or higher and look at the trichomes and harvest when you see 80% cloudy and 20% amber.

You cant really say that since you don't really know what kind of high he is looking for. I agree that looking up the strain is a good a logical idea. I also agree that he should do some research on the certain effects of tricolm appearance. I for one like a couchlock stone so mine are usually done when I see mostly amber. IMO.

When the pistils have receded into the bud and virtually no white or yellow ones are left, then start looking at the trichs for the cloudy/amber factor. Otherwise as said, it depends on the type of high you're looking for. My ballpark guess from the pics is about 2 weeks more to go. None seem to know or mention it, but it's wise to follow the moon to time your harvests. I noticed long ago that the plants in veg or flower go thru monthly cycles where odor and potency swings in time with the lunar cycles. Right before the full moon, just past the first quarter odor and potency definitely hits a peak. It's almost a no brainer one would want to try and time their harvests in that window. Like an old sodbuster I knew would say, "The moon rules the roots". To which I'd add, indoors or out. And cannabis is no different.

I would NEVER, unless my trichs were quickly degrading to amber, chop a girl when she has leaves as healthy as the leaves on your plant.

When your plant is ready, the leaves will start to die off. Until then, unless your trichs are degrading quickly to amber, just let her go. Watch her fatten up. Dream of the day you will smoke her. But please don't chop those babys early, that would be a monumental waste IMHO.

Great looking shrubs BTW !!!!!!

I just don't agree, if you want a couchlock high grow a pure indica. If you are looking for a feel good cerebral high go snag a pure sativa. If you want something in the middle experiment with some hybrid strains, but what ever you do grow the strain for the duration the breeder intended for best effect. Don't know why anyone would want to pick an indica early for a head high or a sativa late for body stone.

You can get a couchlock high from a pure sativa. All depends on when you cut her down and how you cure it. And maybe they just chose a sativa intended plant for it's bag appearance.

I chop my sativas when they are 90% cloudy.... Always tasty and fucking head trip stoned like a motherfucker.. I let a couple go longer till they were about 30% amber and was unimpressed with the results.
