extreme noob question...dealing with plant density after drying phase

ok.. plant matter on finished plant was fairly dense.... now that the plant is hanging... its soft as fuck... once drying is complete.. will it dense up again? or am i stuck with this cotton soft shit?

i have had completed plants prior to this.. but i never really checked on them during drying phase.. so i dont know if this occured.

The remaining water will disperse from the stem to between the buds during curing. It may add some bud density but I would assume not a lot.

Stop f'in with the poor things and just let them dry. You crushing them with you hands is the only thing that is going to change your perceived density. It's all good, just chill and enjoy the fruits of you labor, weed is over 60% water, it happens...JR
