Because there looking for a cheap high, and salvia isint even a high........mabey if you don't break through, but thats not even a "high" state of mind.........your just tripping balls, no way around it, and when you do breakthrough, nothing compares to it, mabey something like DMT, or a extreemly wierd positive LSD or mushroom trip, but MJ is a joke compaired to salvia, and shouldn't even be in the same sentence. I love pot, i loathe salvia, she just sits in a nice warm place in my heart. Have respect for the plant, take them much like dreams, a fleeting wind. Experience the doors it can open, and take something back for the positive of yourself and nature..........its a beautiful thing........Its just your mind in another state of Consciousness, something that defies tangable science.

salivia is weird cuz sometimes it just make you giggly and then finally after like 3 times smoking it i felt like in a goofy movie and my jaw felt all weird like it was rubber and it had fallen into my lap so my mouth was open like 2 feet....but that lasted like 30 sec. but after all that i stick to weed it gets me high every time!!!

I've done salvia a couple times, the first time was in my shed in my backyard when I lived with my folks they let me turn into my smoke room with friends well I did some outta my bong just 10x took a fatty heald it and wow the radio started talkin to me and my shed was collapsing on me pulling me everywhich way. I dont like it but it was fun when it was over. I've noticed with visual drugs if you build it up to much and shit and wait to see things and stuff and try to see shit you usually dont. When I eat shrooms I chill out listen to music and let it come. Alotta times I see people eat shrooms and nothing happens I think its cuz they just sit there and wait to trip idk. everyones different though to.

The first time I did it the music i was listening to started telling me what to do, my bed turnd into sea anemone. The music told me i had to turn around in my bed. things got crazy for 15 min. then I passed out for 2 hours. I would say Salvia is a very powerful mind altering substance. It is not suposed to be used to have fun or relax. It used to be used for spiritual purposes and I think that is its best use. The visuals are crazy but you cant really control the trip at all. another thing if you do it with friends make sure everyone is quiet. If people start talking you will lose the trip and just feel real hot and hungover. Low light is also a good idea. Complete darkness is too much for me. I would lose balance and get sick.

I dunno, I actually want to try it. Mostly out of curiosity, for experience and to find something that could be that 'spiritual portal'. I dont mind taste, I've tasted some nasty shit in my life. And I dont mind getting freaked out either, getting freaked out is something that I know I can handle, based on experience...I may not seem to handle it well, but Im actually a very strong person. I smoked a bowl of 17X once. Didn't use a torch, didn't hold it in that long. I was fucking gone. I've done shrooms about a dozen times over the last few years, the intense part of the high was only about 20 minutes, but it far surpassed any shroom trip I've ever taken.

I was watching a movie at the time...I was in the movie. I was still looking at the characters through the box of the TV, but the background expanded and the entire room I was in looked like the set of the movie. Then the characters started talking to me. They kept telling me I was wrong and that I wasn't watching a movie, I was actually there. It was intense to say the least. If nothing happened your first time...I'd say it's worth it to try at least once more.

ya salvia deff fucks you up. ive smoke 10 and 20x plenty of times. in the dark is fun, play some pink floyd in the background. you musta just had the dried leaves not the extract. ive done shrooms and acid plenty but salvia rocks your world for about 2 mins.

Your problem is that you probably smoked it like weed or in the light. I have jumped off a bed in the dark opened a locked door and run out side in the rain with a 5x extract. 40x is retarded. I've seen indian people carrying carpets and dark tunnels multiplicity and the workx on 5x.

I have had humble experiences with leaves even. Here is how to smoke it.

1. Be in the dark.
2. Use a propane lighter (needs to be hot hot hot)
3. hold it in for 40 seconds.
4. then take another toke hold for 20 seconds you will be gone.

Gaurantee or your money back. Also I don't fuck with 40x (again retarded).

2. Butane works but the key is getting one of those jet lighters. If you smoke sally frequently he's right, Butane torch lighters break in ~2 wks.

*Ahem* 40x lol, I'm guessing you went with PSS. Find a forum that's discusses legal vendors. Find one well reputed. You should be able to get a gram of 50x (Non-S) for roughly exactly what you paid for a half gram of the 40x(S). That's what I smoke. It's really a matter of dosing. I use the tip of my Pipe tobacco mul,ti-tool (any good smoke shop) to eyeball doses. I get about 20 good doses out of a gram. Sometimes I'll load a double dose for my second or third hit.

General Smoking advice:

Salvia has a reverse tolerance reaction in the body. If you smoke a bowl and trip lightly then sit back. When you hit a same quantity after sobering up you will trip twice as hard. I measure with miniscule quantities and you just gotta remember:THINK SMALL

Because: After you light a hit it's gone, smoke the whole bowl. Once you're done inhaling all the Salvinorin-A is gone. Repack it....even if there's smokable left it's no good. So start small and see what your lungs can handle. It doesn't hurt or burn like marijuana, so you won't even feel it in your lungs....but it will make you cough. It's a little different and can take some practice but THINK SMALL. You can always smoke more. 1g of strong stuff can go a LONG way.

I want to reitterate #2. YOU MUST HAVE A TORCH LIGHTER AND A BONG. If you are missing one of these components YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME AND YOUR SALLY. The torch lighter produces MUCH more heat than the standard butane (Like Bic) lighter. The slalvinorin-A need high temps to react and enter your lungs. If you are using a standard butane lighter you will not get very much Sal-A Regardless of strength.

That's how I smoke. I do the same when I can with weed and find I get higher and it lasts longer o.0
