I only ride it in nice weather on the weekends mostly. It's a 2008 with still only around 6000 miles on it. That pic was when I bought it new. Still looks the same though. Stays in my garage.
Honestly, I have had it up to just under 200 mph. I let off at 190 in 5th gear. Was plenty fast enough for me. LOL
I rarely hit high speeds like that, I prefer the twistys on the back roads

What I would do for one of the new 675's.... lol have one as my desktop background.
If I knew I could ride responsibly and not into the back of a minivan full of children... it'd be my next purchase.
Alas I must stay on 4 wheels through the local backroads.

kid got killed here left his house with friends in car infront of him and passed them showboating and went 100 feet hit mail box then went another 110 ft in a 35 mph zone
i used to live on that street it is almost straight few banks so he was hauling ass
but sad as it is atleast he is only one that died from his stupidity
that is a residential area with kids
ya most likely lol. but i dont think my bike will hold up to those kinda speeds

hey fab, have you seen the new'ish bmw?? i think it's called the rr, 1000cc and pushing almost 200 hp, supposed to be one of the quickest bikes out ... not only that, it's super tech as well, full on traction control and other stuffs as well..
looks super bad ass imo..
i'd love to have a bike, but i'm a speed junkie and know i'd kill myself on the first day..

Horrible story, lost a friend in an accident a few years ago.
Home state is Idaho, not sure about about other states, but for some reason we have no helmet laws... Think about him too much.
I'm still young, don't trust my stupid cocky ass for another couple years. Been riding on the dirt for a long time, and a nice used bike is only 4-7k these days.. Definitely a fun time.
good advice nonetheless.

definitely dude!!! has a gyrosensor (SP) that will limit throttle response based on lean angle so you don't get too much power in a tight corner and get all squirrely
