So the Tahoe is definitely male. I already put it up for sale. I have 2 other males in the batch and I had to scrap my indoor grow and put those 2 plants outdoors as well. I have one female showing her first few calyxes already. Heres a pic of the Tahoe OG male. 179923_450609008291335_79439281_n.jpg Also, the spidermites have left, now im dealing with these shitty little green grasshoppers.

You should let the male Tahoe grow out, collect the pollen and store it for future crossings. I only say that cause I hear the Tahoe is a nice strain.

My plant been growing for about 4 weeks 3 days it an indica growing outside. How long will it take to bud.
Welcome to RIU Mr.Bud, I am not sure how long cause the weather outside is different everywhere but I would say around mid to the end of July it should start flowering and probably 50-65 days of flowering time. Its hard to say but the best thing to do is let your plant tell you when she is done.

I was considering that, but I dont have any safe place to keep the plant. I dont want it pollinating my females..

A small indoor tent and some shop lights can keep him alive and away from your ladies. :)
I use a Home Depot Extra large cardboard box and a CFL. I line the bottom with Panda Film Black side up so I can collect any pollen on the floor. It goes in my garage.

Havent updated in a while. Been working alot lately. All of my plants have begun flowering except the 2 small ones that I brought out from my abandoned indoor CFL grow. Sadly, I already have 4 confirmed males in full flower and another that im pretty sure is gonna be male too . I have started using a light nutrient supplement despite good overall health with 8-7-6. I cut down 3 of the males today and left only the Tahoe OG male.. I may harvest some pollen from it and try and get like 15 or so seeds for the spring. In a month I plan on picking up a couple clones for added harvest to supplement the high volume of males. I got lucky this year and didnt run into any severe pest problems.. just a few mites and a little green grasshopper that I quickly dispatched once I found it chillin on a new growth. Heres some pics:
IMG1871.jpgHere is a succesfully topped female. About 3 days into flower, lots of little hairs showing up.
IMG1860.jpgHere is the last suspected male. It was succesfully FIMmed and has 4 tops where there was once 1.
IMG1877.jpgAnother shot of the first female out of order my bad.

IMG1886.jpgHere is the second female in flower, with some very succesful topping done. All those branches and new growth are the result of just one topping.
IMG1889.jpgIf anyone is curious, this is a male in full flower. Notice the sacks hanging out to drop pollen.
IMG1893.jpgOne plant from the CFL grow
IMG1894.jpgSecond plant from the CFL grow
IMG1899.jpg:weed: and here is some very nice Blueberry I picked up from the dispensary for $120 an oz. Super nice medicine.

Sorry to hear about all your males. This is one reason that I start indoors on seeds and sex. I only had 2 possibilites of males when I went out this season. Everything else was sexed inside. :)

One good thing about males is that you get to practice techniques like topping, fiming, bending, root pruning, etc etc. I even tried an outdoor male clone using a 1 gallon pot and 2 liter bottle for humidity dome. :( Didnt work. lol But at least I got to try!

@Kaendar, my one male this year was blueberry. i was really looking forward to breeding him but I messed up the root pruning before transplant (by not pruning enough!).

Problem with leaving a male in the garden is possible pollination. If he's not concerned with that then he will be able to do all that. :)

Yeah but I dont think that will be a problem for a few weeks. Like...I wouldnt get worried when my harem is hanging out with a 7 year old boy....but in 10 years, that mothafucka betta get ta steppin. > : /

Freals though, I wouldn't know about male progress at this point. Like I said, mine is deaded.

Those sacks could swell or he could pop one open while messing with the plants. If he doesn't want seeds he will need to cull or transplant that ASAP.

But I really should stay out of his thread. :)

nice grow man, sorry bout the males. Try to get a clone or two before they start to flower all the way from a lower branch that wouldnt produce much anyways.

Well im keeping two of the males for THC extraction for a topical rub. Im bummed out but I plan on buying a clone or 2 at the end of the month for a little more bud come fall. For now im just pickin off all the sacks. Basically makin em all eunuchs.

*Jedi* I have 2 pheno's showing Red Pistils. One is in a 5gallon and the other in a 1gallon that I need to transplant so I can get her big enough as her sister. The only bad part is that there is a Hermie gene in this batch which proves itself in the white pheno strains of Jedi..The line is kinda fucked but what can you do. Also this is a Grow I don't have the graces of the individuals that own the land so I kinda have to get done with this crop and figure out how to get my growing urges out elsewhere soooo yea the red girl is gonna get chopped when done and ill have to wait 100,000 plants to find her again..maybe ill just get her pollinated and hope she sets up a seed with red traits in her womb.

Thanks for the comment...every morning I have to george of the jungle my Green house haha
