For the 2nd time in as many days, I've heard this mentioned on TV. It appears to be a slow, but growing movement. Ok, your turn UncleBuck........

Sorry, doesn't matter who the people choose, we're gonna get screwed by both sides. Every presidential candidate gets millions of dollars from the same sources and for whomever wins, they owe their supporters (owners) huge favors like Bail out packages. Left or Right, Democrat or Republican, Liberal or Conservative, the story ends the same way every time. America gets shafted by the corporate interests. A very wise philosopher once said "We have the appearance of control. They give 28 flavors of rice-a-roni to make us think we have a choice. You Don't! It's an illusion. That shit they shuffle around every four years means nothing. It's why education sucks and will never get better, because they don't want intelligent people, capable of critical thinking' sitting around the table figuring out how badly they're being fucked by a system that through them overboard 50 years ago. They want obedient workers (slaves) just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork and dumb enough not to care."

We did it to ourselves, so fuck voting, doesn't help anything. Remember, you're presented with only two guys that are guaranteed to win because a third party will NEVER win. Like south park said "Your voice has to heard, because you've given the right, between a douche and a turd." Sorry for rambling but I had to say it.

If Obama could hang his hat on one thing that had to do with housing, employment or the economy on the whole he would be a shoe in. His forigen policy is great, killing Osama took some real giant balls. To send a force into a forigen nation was off the hook.

I would bet that less dems vote this year than any other year in the last several elections.

They wont vote for Romney they just wont vote.

This thing about education being poor because someone in power doesn't want a descerning population. I see it spoken by people who usually are publicly educated and I wonder how they somehow feel superior to those "others" who got the same education but failed to become as enlightened as the speaker. I wonder what omniciant blessing was bestowed upon those folk to the exclusion of all others.

I really don't think that education has anything to do with how a people perceive and what conclusions they draw. But it is very convenient to blame everyone around us for their errant decisions.

Republicans always win when voter turn out is low
-voter suppression
-attacking traditional funders of Democrat party coffers
- AND putting out the message that voting doesnt make a difference

Stay home Dont vote
Then you can bitch for the next 4 years.......right?

Democrats who intend to vote for Romney are either illinformed or not really Democrats. No true Democrat could condone the proposals Romney has put forth.

Well, I think Obama is so far left, he's turned off more of the center-leaning within the party........but I'm sure others would not agree. The same could be said for Republicans too. Either way, he squeaked by in 2008, and this time with a lower voter turnout, alienation of Catholics, Jews, Business Owners, Wall Street and Banks, white males, Health Care, etc., etc......just a few percentage points lower here and there and he'll lose. Everyone is predicting the economy will turn worse the next few months too- that will be the stake in his vampire heart! LOL

It's funny about the right - they always see anyone that disagrees with them as being too far left. I recall they said the same thing about Clinton and only now confess that he was a centrist - something that the left was actually saying when he was president. Obama is not so far to the left, it is that the perspective of the right has changed with the tea party tide. Oh, and that constant refrain from those who really don't understand government - he is a socialist and therefore, because he is one, he must be very very left. Truth is that his policies range from one side to the other but the right can't see that from their distorted vantage point and their extreme obama hatred syndrome.

No one knows how Romney will lead or where he will lead us, he has been all over the political map and has yet to settle anywhere. I think that may indicate that he wants it all.

Dems. are not any more likely to vote for Romney than Reps. are likely to vote fro Obama. The perceived(imagined) difference between the two parties is too great for most people to ford.

Another example of dems being big government douchebags. Little difference in the two party big government supporters. Move along nothing to see here.

I still think my overall point is being missed, you can vote for either one and nothing will change. The money system will still be subjected to hyperinflation because the federal reserve's answer to every problem is print more money. National debt will continue to skyrocket at an exponential rate. I saw Obama tell one of his former supporters who questioned him at a town hall meeting about his failing economic policies, that its her fault the country is in bad shape because she didnt run out and get a credit card. Solve debt by getting in deeper, CLOWN.

Adding to the money problem is multiple wars and foreign aid. An illegal occupation of the sovereign Iraqi nation, which was one of the policies our current commander stood against and the proposed invasion of another country if the republicans get their way. The no end in site occupation of Afghanistan which was declared legally but since bin laden is supposedly dead, mission accomplished but we're still there. That is what we went for right? And then we give Israel 2 Billion in defense spending every year to turn around and spy on us.

The failed war on drugs will continue without question (which I hope nobody on here will try to debate and thats a huge topic in itself). Health care quality will continue to decrease. Government officials will commit crimes and be allowed to walk away without punishment, thats if they're caught doing so. Wall Street will still have free reign to loss/steal billions from people's retirement accounts on really bad insider trading schemes and only having to plea the fifth in front of congress, but that doesn't even happen anymore. Then they get a check from government thats pocketed by the CEOs signed by any american who works a legal job and pays their illegal taxes. Jobs going overseas, losing individual rights, homelessness of veterans and people illegally on disability, police killings of minorities without in depth questioning. And the list goes on and on for whats a real issue.

This is what Carlin meant when said that people today are truly not capable of critical thinking. They believe what anybody will tell them without referencing any information. Instead they are lead to single issue voting like gay marriage or acceptance in the military, abortion, or the empty promise of legalization of not just cannabis but all drugs, a belief of the libertarians. Sad truth is the government shouldn't have a say so in any of those fields of current political debate. Everything on that list comes down to personal choice. It harms nobody else unless you're homophobic or a religious nut and thats a personal problem. And many more field of single issue voting like gun rights. Or animal rights, or environmental issues and the list can go on and on. Or the greatest one of all, the almighty race card.

So again, I say fuck voting. Sorry for thread jacking but it annoys me when somebody implies because I don't vote, I have no right to complain. I pay fucking taxes, so I have every right to bitch about it.
