I am now going to copy and paste the end times from the bible itself...so here we go...
"For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be."
So things will get worse...that makes sense, since things are known to escalate and get worse...then again people are living longer with less toil, so perhaps they are only worse depending on who you ask...
"For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many."
David Koresh was the only person I can think of recently that tried to tell people he was Jesus... So one crazy cult leader doesn't cut it for me... But this is so people don't take up a new religion with someone else...that is all this verse is for...so that if anyone else tried to say I am Jesus, that person would be shunned by the community instead of embraced...you don't want your followers following someone else...lol.
"And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet."
So we will hear about wars, and there will be wars...makes sense since there have been wars as long as there has been people...somewhere in the world there has always been a war going on...that is the way things are...and have been before the Bible...and even more so, after the Bible.
"For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines."
So people will fight and people will starve..again this is an easy prediction to make, since those things were happening then... You have to realize that the Bible was devised by the politicians of the day, meaning smarter than the average person that couldn't read...so these things truly seemed profound...but it is no more profound than Ron Paul predicting the House Bubble popping...I mean it was easy to see...it had to happen sometime...
"And pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places"
So there will be disease and Earthquakes...? There has been these things since the beginning of recorded time...so again...it is written to sound like it is a prediction, but it is really just a reflection on human nature, and nature taking it's course in general.
"Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many."
So the tables will be turned and Christians will be killed...sounds like a way to make sure that your new Christians and Bible followers make sure to oppress anyone that doesn't follow along the bible road...That way the Christians aren't killed...This is just there to make Christians wary of anyone that is non Christian...
"And ye shall be BETRAYED both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death."
Your family will narc you out for being a Christian when they start killing Christians...So again they repeat not to trust anyone that is non-Christian...
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the TRUTH.
So in end times something that has been happening since the beginning of man will continue happening...alright...Do you not see how all this is written so people can always interpret it to mean the end times are near?
"And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great Earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of Heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of His wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?"
Earthquake, no stars, moon of blood...sounds a lot like an eclipse...lol. Must be god's wrath coming for us...
