Do you know how they make fem seeds sir? They take a solution of Collodial Silver, or Sodium Thiosulfate Solution and spray the plant...which makes it hermie...then they take that hermie pollen and pollinate hopefully a clone of the plant that they sprayed...lol.
its a common misconception tho the truth is how much of a tendency to hermie the plant has and this is genetic, most breeder use this method because the plants they choose to fem are difficult to stress hermie and this is a good thing in our case since we want female plants that arent gonna go herm on us.

Couple questions cause I got PW in flower right now if you can help out... 1) Which phenos are hermi prone and 2) how late in flower - late enough my crop wont be ruined? Please help! :(
all 6 of mine looked the same ,they were all short plants but had long braches.Any other time I have ever had a fem seed hermie it would be in week 2 or 3 but the PW would hermie at like 45 days.

I got 1 tall, 1 sickly, 2 short, and one with three leaves per node... I'm really hoping for the purple pheno :/
