they hire mostly illegal migrant workers but im sure there is assistance and also churchs usually can tell u where there are food banks and clothing for needy

great posts, FAB. if more people were aware that there was a social safety net to catch them, perhaps we'd have less worry of violent crime arising from desperate situations in socioeconomically depressed areas like the OP describes.

and it isn't just churches and charities, the government itself will catch you when you fall, especially if you are taking care of a child like you are. this is america, we want every child to have an equal chance at success, and this starts with making sure every child is provided with ample food, clothing, and shelter. no need to hustle or steal, we will give it to you because we want you to have that chance at success.
