Grow house security advice

The OP seems to be talking about more commercial grows ... actually renting a property purely for a place to grow weed on a larger scale. On TV the other night every police raid they did on 'cannabis farms' was on people who were doing exactly that. But then, the police are always more interested in the commercial/larger growers as that is considered organised crime ... not once did they send the troops into a house and bust someone with a little grow room.

With such an international presence on these forums I know the laws and policing vary wildly. I'm lucky in that my local police are pretty chilled, they're not really spiteful and will do their job of course (bad news for us), but they take a tough stance on the commercial growers, but the odd guy that gets busted around here for his own little grow room the courts don't seem to give much of a fuck tbh, I'm talking fines less than £100 ($150 US?) and little else - unless you've got previous etc. Hell, around here if the police stop and search you and you have a score of hash etc, you're likely to get an on the spot fine of £80 ... and it doesn't even count towards a criminal record. Much better than being dragged to the dirt and treated like a serious threat to law and order.

Am sure there are some more commercially oriented way (in it mainly for the money), and there are people who just like to grow their own and maybe a treat for a couple friends to smoke. Theres no denying there is great profit potential from growing, but its like everything else there needs to be context ... sorting out some good mates so you can sit, talk shite, and chillax, is vastly different from, pump it up, bag it, send it out to the street for max profit, repeat etc. Only stoners understand what other stoners mean when they consider it medicinal as well as recreational. People in suits who simply read about it will never understand.

I don't think he smokes, I've only met his twice before then and that's when he offered me the job. It's look me or other people on this site who grow on a smaller scale for personal use.

Even then you really should take some precautions, maybe not the hole nine yards, but you get the idea.

All dogs bite people. I know that but I heard that its hyped up. I know people with pit bulls and they are very friendly, compared to smaller dogs. I have a scar from being bitten by chihuahua on my ankle and it's been for a couple years now. You should know what your talking about if you are going to comment.

I do know what I'm talking about smart ass, I grew up with an am-staff from the time I was 5 until I was twenty. He loved people and kids and wanted to kill horses, he played with full size truck tires for toys and we have pictures of him jumping 8-10 feet in the air for frisbees...

I've owned either a Pitbull or an Am Staff for over 2 decades. I worked as a volunteer for a PB rescue society.

Here's what differentiates them from other breeds. Tenacity.
Once those dogs decide to flip the switch they won't stop. My Am Staff saved me from getting rolled by a group of drunks. He sensed my fear and reacted to protect me. If any if them got within leash distance they would have gotten hurt. It's the only time in that dogs 19 years that he was human aggressive. Now strange dogs, horses and cows were a different story

There's a reason early American settlers used them as protection from bears.

Dam Rick, yall got it pretty dam good. I live Georgia where theyll bury under the jail. We got some of the toughest laws around. Me I just come out of a 12 year retirement to start back growing again. Economy is so fucked up and the boyz in the hood want to much dam money for primo. I just got tired of the shit and after finally convincing the Ol lady 2 let me start me some gurls Im on a good roll. Guerilla growing is one of the toughest jobs but in the end it iso fuckin sweet. And having a way to share your experiences with other growers is awesome. Dam do I got some stories.

I have an alarm and don't even use it ! I test it to let the neighborhood know it's for real, but never turn it on for fear of a false alarm. I have a sign and stickers for the kiddies.

My situation is unique.

I only have 1 neighbor and they grow too. We watch out for each other. If my alarm sounds off they would be right over. Same with us. Im extremely lucky in that respect.

We trade meds, veggies, fruits, chickens and eggs back and forth constantly.

Yeah man, I am thankful on a daily basis.

I grew up in a heroin infested shithole. Living where i do now was never even a thought back when I was a kid. Clean air, ocean, mountains, good schools and very low crime.

Basically the exact opposite environment from what I grew up in
