A quick Marijuana-seeds.nl question

Before you tell me I should go to attitude or seedbay, I'm ordering them for a specific reason, so if you're going to tell me not to order, don't waste your time.

Now then, my question is has anyone grown to harvest Pineapple Kush, Sour D, Strawberry Cough, The Cheese, OG Kush, or Thai Stick from them and had results that back the name claim up? Are the keeper pheno's hard to find? And if you have any experience with any of these strains, rather than telling me they're worth a damn, would you mind posting a pic along with any tips for someone growing them for the first time? Nute resistance, pest resistance, drought resistance, etc.? Thanks guys! Not trying to come off as rude, just seen too many people avoid the question and tell someone they aren't doing it right.

Did you get like a 3 pack or something? I'm willing to pop 10-15 beans to find a keeper. I've seen their Blueberry grown out on the forums here and it was legit. Makes me wonder why the rest of their stuff would suck.

Their OG Kush, to me, wasn't what I expected. I had difficulties with it though, so I don't think I got everything out of it that I should have. I can tell you this much though, the OG Kush from them was very finicky. I never had any troubles with any other strain as much as I did with their OG. Again, it was probably "user error", and not the strain itself, but I can't confirm that either until I have another go around with it.

Prone to heat stress, prone to root diseases, mold on the roots (set up was hydro), spent too much time and money on this strain with an end result of 1.5 oz from the one remaining plant that was sent to 12/12. Also, the one remaining ended up turning hermie on me. Tried to clone the one mother plant I kept in case of emergency and it was a mega fail as well. Could have been another "user error", but I tried several different methods, different cloning powders, dips, gels, etc. and out of 40 clones taken, maybe two survived long enough to die an agonizing root rot death. :wall:

On the other hand.....I gotta say Ice from Nirvana....excellent. Resistant to diseases, molds, heat, high nutes, ph fluctuations, and very excellent with a scrog set up. Two Ice plants from Nirvana, scrog method, end result was 14.5 oz. from a 600w mh/hps. Medijuana was a good product as well. I think I got it from the place you are talking about.

Like I said, I'm going to them for a reason. I know Nirvana has decent beans for cheap but I have plenty of beans. I'm going thru them for selection. I actually have some bag seed going right now thats my own version of skunk. Smells slightly lime.

I have heard of royal queen but never tried her. You're the second person to tell me that their Blueberry was good. I have high hopes for that strain. I wish to cross it with Mosca's Old Timer's Moonshine. It's supposedly the lost Blueberry Muffin Pheno.

Thats disappointing to hear about the OG. I didn't think it was the real deal but oh well. It sounds to me from your description that it's either poor genetics or you have some kind of humidity problem in your room. Sorry to hear about your experience. I'm hoping their Pineapple Kush, Sour D, and Thai Stick are the real deal. I remember the first time I had Sour D, its still in my favorite strains.

Yea, I do have troubles in the grow room. Low humidity, on top of very high heat, which I don't understand. I use to grow in a 6x6x6 tent, using two 600w mh/hps lights, one small table top fan. The temps in their during the hottest part of the day would get to around 88 to maybe 90 at most, and that was middle of summer, no a/c. I had a 450 cfm fan hooked up to a filter running 24 hrs. The average temps during daytime would be around 82 to 85. The humidity in the morning would be so high that the inside walls of the tent would be dripping with water, literally running down the walls. If I left the doors zipped it would stay that way all day. So in the mornings I would open it up and let it air out and the humidity would drop to around 40% and stay that way until it was closed back up. Now the part I don't get, I built a room that measures 7x8x7, same lights, same 450 cfm fan and filter, two big fans running, and the temps won't drop below 88. So I know that has a huge effect on the grow and that's probably the main reason I had trouble, especially in the DWC buckets the water would get too warm and the root rot would set in. I need an a/c unit to help, and the humidity, if I'm lucky when the dryer is running it will reach as high as 40%, without the dryer going it drops to low 20's. I have a bigger room, more ventilation, more fans going, but yet the temps are higher.

As for the one that stayed alive long enough to get that measly 1.5 oz off of, it was actually pretty decent. I know it could have been a hell of a lot better if the conditions were right, so maybe their "OG", might be the real OG. I've never tried the real OG before so I don't have anything to compare it to. But as for comparing it to other strains I've had, it ranks in the top three for potency.

You need to look into coolers if you use DWC. It keeps the water at a steady 60-65 degrees which is optimum for oxygen intake and also good so as to not shock the roots. This will prevent root rot in all cases. Heat breeds slime. So do light leaks into the water.

I was going to go that route myself but decided organic soil simply for flavor, ease of watering, not having to feed since I use soil with fert in it (FFOF along with a few of my own additives). I also don't have the money for organic hydro nutes where I live. Its super expensive. Having a window in the room you built will change humidity levels, if its not in a back room in your basement. I would switch to cool tube hoods for your 600 watters. Much less heat, allows you to get the light closer to the plants (I've heard of as close as 6 inches but I would start at 18 and drop by 2 inches a day to be safe,) and you get further canopy penetration which means less popcorn at the bottom and more nuggage!
