space between nodes

i have my super lemon haze on its 14th day of flowering, been advised its meant to be quite a tall plant, i started flowering at just over 1 foot, and i say thats been 14 days in flower now and none of the 7 plants seem to be over 2,5 foot and there seems to be quite a fair bit of space between each of the nodes, does this mean i will probably end up with a poor yield ?

Long internodal distances are the enemy of yield. These tend to be tall, leggy plants that grow straight up
with few side branches. You are 2 weeks into flowering now so I wouldn't try anything drastic like topping
her now. What should have happened is that you topped or FIM'd her while still vegging. Cutting off the
top of the plant makes her grow more side branches and more bushier. That's a good thing as more bud sites
means more buds and bigger yield.

Usually I can tell from the strain before I even germinate if that plant will need to be trimmed to meet my needs.
I want them shorter and bushier too. Even if I'm surprized and get a plant growing with long internodal distances
I can make adjustments while still vegging. FIM'ing side branches is a good way to make your vegging plant produce
more bud sites. Once long IN distances have been established on a plant there is not much to change that. What you
can do is recognize it early enough so that you can jump in and modify her as much as needed.

Good luck, BigSteve.

i'm growing some raspberry coughs. They are almost a pure sativa plant. As a result... They have tripled in size since inducing flowering. The nodes are also quite spaced out. This is normal for sativas. I think super lemon haze is also mostly sativa (not sure... I've never grown it). So... as long as you have enough light on your plants, I wouldn't worry.

hey... super lemon haze looks amazing... and I'm about ready to order a new batch of seeds. Where's the best place to pick this up?

My Raspberry Cough (Nirvana fem) was quite the little bushy Indica. Started flower at nineteen inches (topped, four mains) and finished at twenty-two. Ymmv. cn

2 of my raspberry coughs are very sativa. They started at just over a foot (bushy and supercropped) and are now over 3 feet.. with long, dense, and slender colas. 1 of them remained bushy and lower... over 2 feet... with thick clumpy buds. I think they're listed as an 80/20 sativa/indica. Anyway.....

thanks for input, i have a 250 mh and 250 hps that i can add to my already 400hps light, which 1 would you advise
