and they threw the match. the backstory is more interesting then the game imo. they need beer to make it more fun. new rule, must have beer in one hand and not spill it in order to advance

they used to make us play badminton in gym in high school. it was my mission to make sure that each and every one of the birdies ended up stuck in the ceiling where the basketball backboards were stored. if i would have put half the effort into playing the game that i put into disappearing the birdies i could have been a superstar. i also made sure that everyone knew it was ok to call birdies shuttlecocks.
