what if when you were growing outside you took a bunch of clones right when the others were beginning to flower and planted them all around then you would get a bunch of small budders and increase your yield!:joint::joint::mrgreen:

You can only take clones from the vegetative stage. From what i was told SOG can only be done inside because you have to control the flowering stage.

actually my friend clones can be taken from any stage but these would be taken from the very end of the vegatative stage, as for controling the flower stage, wtf?

Controlling the flowering stage or any other stage means the ability to cut or add time if needed. Basically you decide when it starts and when it ends. Oh and sorry you CAN take clones during the flowering stage... more things can go wrong though. It could produce insufficient buds, it could turn into a hermie, it could also just fail to develop a root system.. lots of other things to, but you get the point. Read more books on botany!

I hear what drRobert is saying. Just cut some clones a couple weeks before the June solstice, have em grow two three weeks, then let em flower with the mother. I've always wondered this too. Maybe I'll try it?? Sounds like it'd work.

This is exactly wht i was plannin on doing. As soon as i found tha sex of my plants, i planned on cuttin clones of the females an plantin them with the mothers. Whats tha success rate of a clone?

It will definately work. Assuming your clones live, they will flower and finish right along side of the mom. I would cut the clones and bring them in for a week to take care of them and then replant with the mom after that. As long as you have less than 13hrs of light the flowering stage will start and continue, anything more and the plants stay in veg.

The success rate is 100% if you know what your doing, 0% if you don't, and about 40% if you think you know what your doing, but you really don't...lol
