@ae, whilst more lights may sound like a good idea, it will work out alot more expensive. Whats the fasination with scrogging? Whats the total space you have to play around with? I though it was more square shape? Rectangle is poxy for spreading light

6ft by 2ft is the total area, could u shape around two lights and possibly up that a little but 2 ft deep is our max, so scrogg it has to be to help the yeild billy...

If you could control heat you could go with 2 400w bulbs. Would only 2 bulbs put out less heat than 3 smaller ones as well mabe

open to options lads it doesn`t have to be lots of lights, if two 400w would be best i`ll go that route......

ok men heres pictures of my problem , getting worried, more leaves going yellow,, soil was dry again so i gave a good drink of just rain water..
any ideas ???

Think 3 foot square is right for a 400w bulb. 3 x 2 shouldnt be much different

right so, looks like it needs a nitrogen feed, have you ph`d the rain water or anything? whats the soil also?

Think 3 foot square is right for a 400w bulb. 3 x 2 shouldnt be much different

600hps would be more suitable for 3ftsq, If you aint getting enough light on ur babies you aint going to grow your stuff to it's full potential.

yeah have the same again up over the flower room, total height is 8.5 ft so say flower room will be little over 4 ft in height so gives me nearly two rooms on top of each other of the same size. if that maes sence to you dudes....

id go 2 400w, sounds plenty for yeild useing the gram per watt rule...

scrog bill, so flower sites are fixed right below the light, well in theroy anyways....

You could get 600W ballasts and 400w bulbs. The ballasts can run a 400 and 600 now I think. Ones I got do anyway...I hope.
Could always up the bulbs later if you think you can

Temps seem okay and have read that your best leaving watering till leaves begin to wilt.

Both are magnetic. Had a 400w MH on it this grow and seemed alright

im sorry, stoned, but that makes no sense to me! 4ft sound too low.

Also dont mind 1g per watt rule, generally high quality strains don't produce this regardless of what people tell you.
