It's really not an attack. I am not saying anything derogatory about him. I just want to get others impressions of his knowledge before they take the ADVICE he is giving out.

I explained to you in great detail why plants are the size they are. But, even for their size they are looking as great as possible. Ill leave this alone tho.

What? As far as outdoor growing is concerned, I have some decent experience. I dont know how many of you know how to bonzai plants without killing them.. it takes a lot of time, patience, and practice.

I think he reads alot (just like me) and comes across alot of different opinions/methods/facts, then SOMETIMES tries to pass that along without much deliberation as to what is fact vs opinion. There are many others that do this too. i think this bc sometimes i see the stuff he posts online elsewhere on other forums/sites. so i dont think he makes shit up but yea. I have also seen him do research tho and pull up some very convincing arguments.
I have considered his advice, got a second opinion, maybe even a third or fourth, then made an informed decision like everyone should be doing. If you take anyone's advice blindly here without seriously considering what you're doing (aka doing your own research) and your plants die or fail, its your own damn fault lol
Not slamming you Kaendar, you have good advice most of the time, just be more thorough bro. For example, in that ants post you said "ants are beneficial to roots"....well yes and no. Some ants will dig into your soil, aerate it, and everything's harmonious. Some ants will kill your fuckin plant though. If you would of explained this in more detail and asked "what kind of ants?" and then given your advice You might of got better responses. Just two cents, much love Kaendar, digging your avatar.

ive not seen this person around and i lurk a lot, but you should only give advice about growing if you dealt with the problem or such in question instead of some bs you read somewhere

LMAO, No you di'int. Oh man. Epic thread topic.It appears Kaendar doesn't agree with me that he needs to do a bit more research before giving advise. I would like to have some of you chime in with your impression of his knowledge of growing and if he should continue to help others or if we need to warn others before taking his advise.
I know it seems like I am starting shit but I really would like this kid to learn from his mistakes and make him a better grower overall. If this gets shut down then so be it but I thought it would be a good lesson for him.

I like Kaendar, seems like a good guy. Just wants to help. But I think a lot of the people he has given advice to might have a bit of an experience edge on him. Just my observation.

Which is exactly what I do. If anyone cares to look, I only post advice in the outdoor section, bcuz thats what I have experience in. There are times when ppl are having burn issues with plants and shit.. I havent really dealt with that before so I generally dont comment on shit if I dont know a proven solution.

Very true, but that is rare. I have never come across that problem. Did you know that some ants eat spidermites?
