So the mods led us on this whole time to delete that thread hundreds of pages later.. 
What's weird is that alot of rep was taken from me but my rep force is the same, that's cool IMO.

The alternative would have been a pre-emptive closure and the loss of a lot of coolness. The threads were great fun while they lasted, and I for one appreciate the fact that the mods held on loosely until things got a bit starchy.
That doesn't mean i wouldn't advocate closure in place of a thread delete. Some of the deleted threads contained excellent object lessons on where the boundaries have been placed. cn

Good for you? IMO, they should have closed it from day one and let us get hooked on a different thread. That way, we could have had a cool thread without it being closed due to a lame excuse.

I wonder why the decision was made today ? It had been a lot more heated in the past.
I agree CN. They should lock a thread before deleting it unless there is too much BS in it to delete individual posts.

To be honest, I don't care much that the thread was deleted or that our rep is gone, nope. What bothers me, is that I didn't get to see the destruction of the thread. Sad day neer, sad day.

I agree a lock would have been better... I mean look at the PIC of Yourself thread... that shit got plenty crazy and it's still opened... after a few locks, but still open... maybe having REP in the title is the bigger problem cause then it advocates the use of the rep button... stay high

Well I'm not sure to be honest.. I don't remember how many reputation points I had before the closing of that thread and I still have the same rep force, but my reputation comments are gone. That's like the only thing that matters about rep lol.
