Imo you would do much better with air exchange than with introduced CO2. Plants like fresh air as much as we do, and as doc111 has pointed out, building a space-style life support setup for the plant is a lot of effort. Air exchange will get you very adequate CO2, along with root oxygenation and the removal of minor metabolic toxins. cn

I think so. At least at first. If I ever get my own house, i might try heavily-tweaked environment grows, but from a hobbyist perspective. In the mean time, I'm keeping it fairly simple and getting OK results ... not yet stellar, but on my way. cn

my first few grows i set up exhuast and intake. spent a lot of money and a lot of sweat installing it.......I finally stuck a can of co2 in the room with a sentinel co2 emitter and have never looked back. have a decently sealed room ( i need to do some maintinance work then i'll have a proper seal again)

My brother runs a sealed room with C02 no vents or exhaust but he has a 24,000 BTU mini split AC it there for 5 by 9 room, I think its ridiculous. But he is pulling better buds then me. I am not going to argue with anyone. I don't know the details of his grow room but, I promise he has no fresh air coming in or out except when he opens the door.. If I can find a picture I will post it..

sounds cool nice to see still has a heat coming from the ac tho, an i would guess the room leaks when the co2s running houses aint air tight
